A New Model: At the beginning of the game, put 2 MARK tokens on K-9. When K-9 would be KO'd, instead remove a MARK token, turn him to click #1, and choose a standard power. K-9 may use the chosen power until the end of the game, even if this ability is lost.
DEFENSE MODE ACTIVATED (Force Blast) DO NOT WORRY, MASTER... (Penetrating/Psychic Blast) ...I AM A GOOD DOG (Invulnerable) AFFIRMATIVE (Perplex)
Significant Appearance: Doctor Who: The Invisible Enemy (1977)
It's everyone's favorite sci-fi robot dog (sorry Dynomutt) and this is a heck of a dial. I can't think of a time he wouldn't be useful since the powers you choose each game can be completely different. And yeah, like any pick a power character, there are certain standard power that'll be chosen more often but I can imagine that fun of getting to use something out of left field. Imagine this guy on his last legs (wheels? hovering device?) using charge with super strength to nail a stealthed enemy for 5. My only criticism is his size. I realize he's not the smallest metal lassie out there but I wouldn't say he's larger than Krypto and Clark's canine pal has . I'm not sure if maybe you wanted to keep him standard sized for balance reasons but considering a single 3 damage pulse wave KO's him without allowing for his trait, I feel like he's balanced with if he were tiny. That's just my two cents. I look forward to future dials.

Thanks for the feedback! I didn't give K-9 tiny size because he really doesn't get carried around a lot -- and since his defense is already where it seemed right, being toted would be the only other advantage to it. And as a standard size, he can pick up equipment...in case he needs to fetch the Hand of Omega!
