My local venue is running a 400 pt modern age named theme team tournament this week. We mostly play for fun...not a lot of 'meta' items or teams. I thought I wold run a Thunderbolts team. My first thought was to run something like this:

TMT 013b Red Leader
SFOSM 040 Speed Demon
AI 023 Venom Space Knight x2
SFOSM 005 Thug
TMT s001 Bloodaxe

The idea is to have +3 perplex at all times with the ability to +5 perplex from Red Leader's power action. Speed Demon would be my main attacker (and wold have Bloodaxe) with my Venoms as secondary attackers. Speed Demons shadow should be able to use Exploit Weakness from Bloodaxe as well. Thug is there to allow Red Leader to 'resurrect'.

I also have 033 Deadpool SF but not 034 or 037. Thoughts on what you would run?

I am pretty sure that if you use the shifting focus feature only the clic you begin the game with has to have the keyword to keep from breaking theme. So I would get as many of those SF Deadpools as possible through trades or online as possible. More options are never bad. Other than Red Leader and Speed Demon my only must play is Baron Zemo (SFoSM#051). If you don't have him you NEED him. Solid by himself @ 90 pts (9 chrg 12 BCF. 17 CR. 2 Dmg w/outwit & leadership) but he also gives all friendly Thunderbolts and MoE +1 to ATK AND Side Step! If you love Speed Demon now wait to see him with a top dial 12 atk and two more movement via sidestep, which also gives you a 2nd chance to break away with HSS if you happen to roll a "1".
