Ok thanks, it came up in our wko today. I agree with what's being said but my opponent was very adamant that the -or- distinguished between the choices and not the commas. I do know that sometimes heroclix and English don't go together perfect so the double check.

I see where you're coming from. Originally, I thought choose 1 of the 4 options. But now I can see it as 1 of the 2 options as well. Why would they write the "-or-" that way?

"Or" doesn't have any special rules meaning, it's just a list of items and you pick one. Everything about the effect is written in the singular form as well.

It sounds like the opponent here wanted it to work that way. It is pretty clear from all of the context clues that it would not.

To be fair, this is something they've been fairly inconsistent on lately. These effects (where you choose a single effect from a list) have been written several different ways recently. However, if the effects were grouped together, there would be an "and" in one of the lists, ie; "Stealth, Shape Change, and Tiny, -or- Giant Reach", something to that effect.
