Let's say that I am using a V. FireStorm and an E. Deathstroke, and my friend is using an E. Batman who is stealthed in a bush (for example). Although my Firestorm can't see Batman due to his team ability, why can't I just target the bush, destroy it, and have Batman exposing himself to the world (his object is gone and is no longer stealthed) so my Deathstroke can take a pop at him?
First of all you cannot blow up hindering terrinan and second you would not have a clear line of fire to the bush. if you were allowed to blow up the bush it would just create more hindering.
Hindering terrain printed on the map cannot be destroyed. Objects act as hindering terrain for LOF and may be destroyed; however, a destroyed object leaves rubble, which in turn is hindering terrain. A tactic of smart players who would like to make sure Batman stays hidden in tactical places is to first destroy the object to create permanent hindering terrain for the remainder of the game before moving Batman (or choice of Stealth/Batman/Kabuki) into it or behind it.
