END YOUR STORIES, ONE BY ONE: Steal Energy. POWER: Make any number of close attacks, each targeting a different opposing character (He will heal for each hit.)

I'm concerned about how this special is worded. I thought I'd post here to see what the rules gurus think, knowing I probably won't get a response from the win.

First, is the sentence within the parentheses just a clarification for his Steal Energy? And if so, is his Steal Energy different in that he heals on hits instead of damage?
Also, is the parentheses part completely separate from Steal Energy? If a character takes damage from his close attack, will he heal twice (once for the hit, once for the damage)? And does he indeed just heal 1 click (doesn't specify)?

You still need to do damage to proc steal energy. The parenthesis is just stating that steal energy lets you heal more than once. It's not there to change the power, just a clarification on an anticipated rules question.

Oddly enough this time they created a question.

This is correct. I get why one might second guess themselves on it though.
