At a prerelease event, this guy led the charge at my 3-0 win. I wasn't paying enough attention and let the Soul tokens add up (so I could attack every turn) on my first round and Bruce got KO'd. He's a serious beast who one-punch KO'd a couple opponents that day.
I also pulled him in pre-release and he played really well. Absolute beast with a heavy object. Kept Bruce out of harms way until the third game then he got crushed!!
WIN/LOSS: 1-2 In sealed I experimented with a few styles. Round 1 I collected token after token smashing everything I could. He crushed a Rhino and a Lizard (also threw a crit miss) but then the opponent tossed a Hail Mary and KO'd Bruce who was within 6 of Hulk and the big guy ate 8 unavoidable. The second round I stopped collecting Soul Tokens with 3. He one-shotted Clea and dealt 7 to Stegron. When Bruce died, Hulk ate 6 unavoidable but his end defense wasn't high enough to stave off any attacks and he died that same turn. The final battle, I kept Banner back in the starting area. Hulk (and the team) targeted any and all mobile pieces I could. No one could walk past the Hulk and once threats were mitigated, Banner could move up more freely and Hulk was free to throw more soul tokens on him. Cool sculpt, you really have to commit to using Hulk strategically to prevent him from being a huge point sink. 150 is a lot (especially without Indom) but he does have a lot of damage output potential.
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
From the Comprehasive Rulebook p. 12
" As long as this vehicle has no pilot, adjacent friendly standard characters have “POWER: Become this vehicle’s pilot.” Pilots are removed from the map and placed on the vehicle’s HeroClix card. A character is only a pilot as long as it’s on the vehicle’s card due to an action that made it the pilot."
"Diaper Hulk" might be my favorite iteration of the character. Protecting Bruce is as simple as dedicating a flier to taxi him off to a safe area when necessary, and throwing Hulk into the fray to accumulate just enough Soul tokens to be protected from his primary weaknesses (Outwit, penetrating damage). Since the accumulation of Soul tokens is *optional*, you may opt to have an appropriately-keyworded character with Leadership (or a token removal effect) accompany him instead of risking a potential KO upon Bruce's demise. Hats off to the sculptor, who was able to translate Alex Ross' art with a good deal of accuracy.
Can you just feed him soul tokens to get him to act every turn like a form of colossal stamina with no self-damage? Because that's a really powerful ability even if it does turn lil' Bruce into a giant target.
Could you just throw banner in a vehicle to protect him? Or is that No longer "on the map"?

Sadly, Bruce cannot pilot a vehicle.
Bystanders are not considered standard characters. (Page 31 of the core rule book. First bullet point under 'Standard Character').
Hey, this just occurred to me what happens if The Dawnbringer generates a Bruce Banner bystander could I KO my Banner to inflict the unavoidable on the opposing Hulk
No because the effects are unique to the Banner that one distinct Hulk generated. Hulk 1 and Hulk 2 bother make their own Banners. Banner 1 would only hurt Hulk 1. Hulk 2 would only be hurt by Banner 2 dying. Dawnbreaker's own Banner wouldn't have any effect on an opposing Hulk
