someone tried to say this was legal since Indy came out, and i've never heard of it. can his flyer, who is based by one of mine, attack OTHER characters of mine who are away (NOT in base contact with the flyer and in range)??

Hovering characters can make ranged combat attacks against adjacent and non-adjacent opposing characters to which the have a clear line of fire, even when adjacent to opposing characters. well the flyer has to attack the based fig and ranged fig, so it has to have atleast two lightning bolts to do this, then just assign all dmage to the ranged(nonbased) fig
so yes with multiple bolts only

Um if you re read the rule about flyers shooting out of b2b contact you will see that you DO NOT need 2 arrows to do so. Flyers have that advantage of being able to shoot out of b2b contact.
