"You think so?" the villainess asked, reaching out to him to steal his warmth.

"Yes, I do," he answered, quickly dispatching her.

"And now, speaking of fashion disasters," kyle said, "let's see if we can do something with the guy with the bowtie and platform shoes." He fired off a shot straight at Arcade. It went straight through him.

"Hologram," Arcade explained. "You think I'd make it that easy?"

Unus tks Bastion to J6.

"While Bastion takes on the big guys out there, we got a long-hair in our presence who seems easy for the pickins," Arcade says.

Shatterstar easily deflects his clumsy blast with his sword. "That's hardly an attack, friend, to me it's barely movement".

"How about this then? Something a little more fiery..." Volcana says as she blasts lava at the man.

He jumps and maneuvers around it like a dance. "Perhaps the next try?", he laughs.

"Unbelievable," Bastion says with anger, "I have hurt their precious Green Lantern yet you cannot even subdue this overactive teenage mutant? Mutants it seems, will be my pleasure to deal with."

"And your fight to lose," Shatterstar replies confidently.

These games are proving interesting. None of the pieces in this game are my 'A' game (that would be Mandarin, Kang, Mad Thinker types). A lot of these wouldn't even be B (Arcade, Unus, Ultrahumanite and Johnny Quick would probably be that). It's fun using these lesser and relatively insignificant figures. The big & important ones will surely come along.

Couple of things. First Bastion's range is only 6. He'd have to be in J8 to attack Kyle - or somewhere in row 8 anyway, not necessarily J.

Also, Kyle's Ion power gives him the Quintessence TA on his first click, meaning he's un-Outwittable. So he will get an Impervious roll. It's a 3, so he ends up taking 2 from Bastion. And NOW you can Outwit him.

Bastion's at J8 then and Kyle only gets 2 damage. Bastion outwits his perplex.

“Easily,” Bastion said, swiftly flying out of the way, but right into the path of Shatterstar’s swords.

“I don’t like the way you talk of killing mutants,” Shatterstar said. The power from Bastion flowed up the metal of his blades and into his body, but he ignored the pain. “They are friends of mine.”

“Then you are guilty by association and I will gladly eliminate you too,” Bastion threatened.

Shatterstar simply jumps over Bastion and thrusts him with his sword while doing so. "Minutes you say? And just how many minutes? At this point we must be taking in the hundred thousands."

You're right, Bastion's not really all that much. Never used him before, now I see why.
