You guys think that there is any chance of wizkids selling the new starter early at WWC? This is my first year going to any convention, I'll be there Fri/Sat/Sun. and am just wondering what to expect and most importantly how much money to bring.

Sometimes they will surprise us with an early sale of the new sets, so we may get lucky. I think the FF Starter is actually a prize for one of the events on Sunday, so we know they are around.

Have fun and make sure to say "hi" to all of us in the gaming area.

Also - you can put you HCRealms ID on the front/back of your badge so we know who you are. That helps if you are new to WWC.

Yeah, I can't wait. The biggest game I was ever a part of was a prerelease and that only had about 20 people. It'll be fun to play against new people.

I'd hope that there are movie theaters in the area since the Batman movie is premiering early in Chi-town @ WWC, IIRC.

It's actually one of Saturdays events. It's the 2:00pm event-500point Unrestricted Event. There's no Bystanders, BFCs or Special Objects.

I bought my tickets last friday for this saturday and still don't have them. I hope they show up today !!!!

FYI, if you order tickets after a certain date, you have to pick them up at Will Call because they won't mail them. For example, I bought my badge for WWE after 5/19/08 & it wasn't mailed to me because I missed the cutoff for mailing.

I have my receipt, so I should be good. I just want to get in the door!

But they did charge me for shipping?

I don't think they charge shipping. It's a "handling fee".

If anyone would like to take pictures at the con and wants me to front page them like I did with WWE, let me know.

I got a super fast respone from customer service at Wizard. Tickets ordered after June 16 will be at will call. Even though my receipt says shipping, there is no charge for s/h on will call tickets

Now I can worry about something else
