I would like to see would NECA would do with sculpts for Horrorclix. They were mostly better then, and with this digital sculpting they are using, they would probably be pretty sick. That alone would make me buy them again.

Wow this kind of sort of passive agressive fight is entertaining but I must side with you. I'm an avid HRc and Heroclix player but I can see the logic in your statements.
however I must ask you about if we got figures that were comics first but the clix versions were the TV Versions or The MOvie versions (Such as ..the Watchmen...or if we were to say get a "The Tick" Figure of the "Evil Midnight Bomber what Bombs At Midnight"). LIke how would you feel on that?
I don't know how you're reading passive aggressivity into this. I don't intend any aggression toward anyone. And I don't see any from Thrumble Funk either. I don't really agree with him. And I'm trying to understand where he's coming from while hopefully getting him to see where I'm coming from with some (hopefully) humor thrown in for effect. Passive Aggressive? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. Work in childcare or education for a few years. THEN you'll understand what it means.
Anyway, I love The Tick. I love the first twenty or so issues of the comic. I love the show. (cartoon) That being said, there are a lot of things about the show that bothered me.
1. no ninjas - Best Tick Comics EVER
2. no 'superman'
3. no crime finding Viewmaster
THAT being said, if they made a set based solely on the comic, I'd be disappointed that a bunch of stuff from the show wasn't included. The list is too long, but I will say that the top of the list would be the Evil Midnight Bomber What Bombs At Midnight.
But I certainly wouldn't be annoyed if they included anything from the Live Action show because there never was a Live Action Tick show. (It's nicer in my reality. By the way, why do people keep on talking about Highlander sequels and shows?)
Thing is, if you're doing the tick, do you take the characters from the animated series, live action or the actual comics?
I vote for the comics. I want a Samurai Paul, Oedipus and other comic characters, (though I wouldn't mind a Bat Manuel/die Fledermaus)
Yeah baby YEAH...Wait no, So He says To me "You Going to let this punk Cut you out " and I'm like No Baby no. So Then he says "Well Ask him about you" and I go "YEAH BABY YEAH!!!"
Just saying: Evil Midnight Bomber What Bombs at Midnight

I agree. I am curious to see what the digital sculpting process could turn out for Horror-styled sculpts.
The HrC sculpts were one of the elements I enjoyed the most from that game. There was a lot of "tongue in cheek" humor hidden (not all the time well, mind you ) in those sculpts.

The "Omniverse" was a concept originated by Mark Gruenwald, IIRC, and was meant to encompass all of fiction. Marvel doesn't "own" it, and thank God there isn't a game that tries to haphazardly slap it all together.
You mean I don't write for Marvel on my free time? What am I supposed to tell my family and friends now?

The fact that it was often someone elses tongue in the cheek just added to the humor.

And to this day, I don't know who half the Marvel and DC characters are. Where as over the years, I've at one stage or another read almost every title represented in Indyclix. In most cases, much better quality stories than what I've read out of Marvel and DC for the most part.

Not knowing anything about licencing and such, I think already having the licence and releasing quality product with said licences would only make it easier to negotiate said licences into gaming. Just my thoughts

Couldn't agree more. Sci-fi and Horror are comic book (even superhero comic) mainstays.

Good thing Nintendo didn't do anything new from Mario Bros. They would totally have gone bankrupt.
Also good thing Hasbro didn't try anything different from Monopoly, or there'd be a whole lot of unemployed Hasbro staff sleeping on my front step.
And come to think of it, NECA better stop making those pesky action figures and collectibles because it's obvious Heroclix is the only thing keeping it afloat.
I've said it before and I'll say it again; Horrorclix (and by extension Haloclix, I guess) failed due to bad management. The product wasn't put in front of the people who would buy it.You get a great product and put it infront of the right customer base, and they'll buy it. Horrorclix was not necessarily intended to appeal to the same people who play Heroclix. Sure there was some crossover fans, but to think just because they played Heroclix means they'd play Horrorclix was Wizkids' mistake. They needed to get the product infront of the right people; horror fans, horror gamers and such.
But they refused to even try. They refused to even show the game to anyone other than Heroclix players. Their strongest Horror Licence had no advertising at all. None.
So taking that into account, who cares if Gremlins and the new Freddy vs. Jason game is Heroclix compatible? Who cares if it is (I know it's not)? The entire world does not revolve around Heroclix. Games will survive if they're not Heroclix compatible.
People will still eat sandwiches of they don't have mustard on them, if they're hungry and they know they can get it.

Are you including the Vertigo/Helix Sub-Titles? Because I'd think they're on par with and in some comparisons superior to say Dark Horse Comics Or Image.

Not really. We're really talking Clix here. I do agree that Vertigo has released some gold. Not familiar with Helix, myself.
