Agreed that Millenium was pretty bad. I remember thinking I wasn't going to miss out on all the cool subplots like I did during Crisis and ordered Every. Single. Frickin'. Tie-in.
Needless to say this put me off cross-overs for a long, long time.
Hints: There are a few more than six, three I can think of right off the top of my head were all in team books and another appeared in the second to last issue of a title that finished during the cross-over.
One of the Rocket Red's was a Manhunter. Dr Whitney in Smallville was a Manhunter, and it was Rudolf West Wally West the Flashes, Father. I don't recall any more beyond that.
Why be sweet, why be careful, why he kind?
A man has only one thing on his mind
Why ask palitely, why go lightly,
Why say please?
They only want to get you on your knees

1. Lana Lang (Superman's 'Pal')
2. Rudolph West (Flash's father)
3. Laurel Kent (Legion Academy Member)
4. Rocket Red (JLI member)
5. Dr. Whitney (Smallville Doctor)

Props to ohcysp for deducing Pete Ross, although he was never explicitly revealed as one, I didn't count that guess).
