People are complaining that at least these Batmen aren't "one-shottable"? Hell man, Batman is just a man in a suit...he should be "one-shottable". Invuln on Batman? Hells to the NO! Seriously, waaaay too much.
If someone like Hulk punches Batman, and hits him, he should go *squish*. Ergo he should be one-shottable.
We agree. Seriously. I think we should go get our heads examined.
The sense of scale in heroclix certainly seems to be coming apart more and more.
Ditto! Good game design has been thrown out the window in replace of making every character as comic-innacurate as possible.
And the people that are saying that a Hulk shouldn't exceed 175 points.. Really? But Batman should stand toe to toe with him? Seriously, people should read more comics... because Batman would last all but 10 seconds against the Hulk.

But don't you remember that Batman was able to toss Superman with a judo throw well over 20 feet?
Again, this is Batman as he stacks up against the other characters in his movies. He's not designed to be compared to Heroclix outside this set. I am certain we'll see a similar trend in the rest of the characters in the set. This is to make fair teams of Batman vs. the Joker with 3 20 point thugs or what have you, and make Joker sufficiently better than those thugs.
Seriously though, why does The Dark Knight get the Sharpshooter ability and not have any ranged powers? It just seems like a waste because the Sharpshooter ability lets you make ranged attacks against adjacent characters.
Same with The Batman. He has Leap/Climb and Flight... which seem to do just about the same thing. So what's the bonus to using (but not possessing) the Flight ability?

I like the sharpshooter cuz if some one has combat reflexes then there screwed, and leap and climb is so that he can attack people on different elevations.
these batmen are great to me

Sharpshooter is a ranged attack, so if the opposing figure has Combat Reflexes and is based with Batman, Batman can use the Sharpshooter to ignore it. With an opposing character with Energy Shield/Deflection while based you can just do a regular attack.
As for the Leap/Climb and Flight coexisting, lets look at the 2011 Powers and Abilities Reference Card:

Leap/Climb helps with automatic break away when based while the Flight prevents knock back damage from falling to a lower level.
We all know that dc needs broken and overpowered figures to sell something but an invulnerable Batman with B/C/F is a bit over the edge. And more if based in a bad movie were a dog can bite batman...
With as many posts as you've racked up and as long as you've been a member of the realms, I'd think you would know the difference between the terms over-powered (when a character is given a power or stat set greater than what the character actually deserves - or the opposite of under-powered) and broken (when a character is given powers or stats that radically affect the game play experience or make the character or character's team extremely difficult to beat).
Over-powered? Yes. Broken? No. Those two statements are completely different. The post I was replying to refered to "DC haters" saying the character was broken. I'm not seeing posts of that sort.
I am glad you took time out of your day to call someone out on their use of vocabulary. Now perhaps you can turn your attention to solving the unrest in the middle east

when have you ever seen Batman be taken out in one hit? He has gone toe to toe with Superman, Bane, Aliens, and a whole host of others and usually wins, and if he doesn't win he puts up a good fight and stays standing way longer then anyone would expect through sheer force of will. While I agree he shouldn't have multiple clicks of Invuln, he definitely is not and has never been "one-shottable"
I can understand the head-scratching over Invulnerability, but it absolutely doesn't bother me. These (Batman) dials are both over 100 points, on figures with only 6 range and low damage values. The Invulnerability makes these figures playable in an era filled with 4+ damage figures as well as those with higher ranges.
I've played the Lamppost Batman a number of times, and my biggest complaint about that dial is that the person playing it has to go out of his way to make sure the figure doesn't take a hit before it closes in on foes in order to get any return on the point investment. Folks will be able to spend a realistic amount of points to play figures that actually behave like the action Batman of the recent films. I've found it pretty embarrassing that the most popular Batman figures in HeroClix (HT Exp, Icons Starter, OOTS Justice League) typically are not played in a way such that they are not afraid actually use their fists. Folks may rationalize it somehow, but it never looked like a majority of Batman appearances to me.
I'm impressed by the balance of the Sonar Surveillance power (even though I think we've seen something like it before). It has Outwit brought into a much more balanced range (6, not 10) with the added ability that if the figure actually gets that close to opponents they cannot hide (behind walls, in stealth, behind allies) from the Outwit.

DC haters? Who? Where's the hate? I don't see any of it, anywhere. Where are you seeing this?
I have not have read every single post in this thread, and I'm not going to. But in the five pages I have read, I haven't read a single post of someone saying this figure is broken. Who are these "all you" people that you're refering to?
Your post seems as vitriolic as any, here, and I'm at a loss as to why that is. "
Read ALL the pages. By 'all you people', I'm talking about the ones calling either of these Batmen or Bruce Wayne "broken," and complaining about it. It's ridiculous, imo.
