I live in the lower Peninsula of Michigan. I have a sister and her family in Columbus, whom I visit at least yearly, only 5 hours away. I am maybe 6 hours from Indianapolis, and have a couple old classmates, and for awhile an old girlfriend, who live there.

The point of this? despite my proximity, I have never attended Origins or Gencon. Because I am a putz. Time, money, other commitments, whatever, but if I really had wanted to go, I probably could have at least once each. Would love to pick up the CON LEs and see the sights, but the idea of playing max-meta heroclix makes me gag more than Bud during Fleet Week.

What's your take on this Clone Trooper?

Before I click on that link, let me state that I am staying pure. For movies that want to see, I don't watch trailers or commercials, I don't read articles, I try to avoid all spoilers. So if that has something to do with the new Star Wars movie, then I am not going to check it out.

I do not know what it has to do with. I know it is a Clone Trooper/Doom Commander. I believe it would be a Clone Wars thingie. It has Doom in the name and looks the way it does, I figured you'd have an opinion. I never once thought your opinion would be on any crazy schedule.

I find it...interesting. A cool idea, but I'm not sure it came out as well as it should. The quality is there. Whoever did it is rather skilled. It just seems to be missing something. Maybe if it was steel grey instead of white.
