Sorry, today went crazy, and then a half-hour meeting turning into close to three hours and I'm still sitting at my desk instead of heading home to catch the flu from my kid.

I opted to take no action during the first night phase. I have a lot of one time powers, and nothing was standing out to me enough that I was willing to use one up so soon.

also, I have class Mondays & Tuesdays until 4pm (PST), which is why I am only just now responding. I do not have any internet enabled mobile devices, so I can't get online while I'm away from my apartment.

Alright, normally this would harsh my vibes, but as a newer player I can kind of see not wanting to use a power night one. I'm always of the mind that I can die at any minute, and powers are useless to dead players :P

Still, that did nothing to quell my suspicions. I find it hard to believe that none of the powers available wouldn't be usable on night one. Maybe you have protection and knew holding on to powers wouldn't be as detrimental?

I would prefer to let her explain a little bit more about what might have happened last night/who she is first.

I do have one free action, which enables me to use the power of one target against a second target (and a third if needed). I select all 3 targets at once, so I don't know what power I get from the person. I was still working on figuring out how the power worked in my head when the night phase happened (since I'm still fairly new to mafia games, I tend to get confused by wordings sometimes) so instead of using up one of my one shots, I chose to take no action.
