For quick reference (before I go to bed), if everyone who voted in this thread had exactly one vote, then Jackofhearts would be lynched at the end of the phase because he is tied with the two other outcomes (No Lynch, Ignatz), but he was first to have the most votes. If someone else voted for No lynch, it would be No Lynch in the lead. Then, if someone voted Jackofhearts again, it would still be No Lynch because it would be tied at two votes, but the first to reach two votes. That is all hypothetical - but I do love a good JoH lynch.
You are able to change your vote per normal. Or leave it with someone.
I REALLY REALLY dislike this. This allows for way too much gamesmanship as you've already seen. And gives an advantage to those who understand how to game this than those who do not. Terrible mechanic, though you get points for originality.
And who doesn't love a good JoH lynch?

This is not a vote to advocate a non active day. This is to make sure we don't "accidentally" lynch a townie. Does that make sense?
vote: no lynch
Truffles is already picking up on the potential gamesmanship here. Including the fact that some of us are trying to circumvent the plurality system with the no lynch.
Whomever is going after Ignatz this game is being a big you know what. Even if he's the SK, give him one day to play a frakin game. Dude has been killed N1 as town in 2 of the last 3 games. To get lynched D1 in a third of four is the sort of thing that would push me from quitting or taking a break from mafia, and I wouldn't blame him for doing it. I really hope you're town after I am defending you Iggy...

I am not either. I think the analogy is that they just want to get an early vote train on the record. That's the only comparison I can see.

Right, and what mafia wouldn't want to start the game with an easy 1-2 punch of lynching a townie D1 and then killing on N1?

You can further skew those statistics by being a mafia player who is the pressure starter.

Unless the player is Eleven, right?

I somehow forgot that Brainiac always gets the day one pressure... probably because I've been scum a lot recently and he's easy to get votes on... heh.

There's one chance in 16 that the pressure target is Eleven. It would absolutely be the worst possible outcome to pressure Eleven, but I am okay with those odds.
I'm pretty terrible at early reads so I'm not going to spill all of my thoughts here yet for fear that I unwittingly set off someone's radar.
I will say that the lack of Brianiac's response to pressure has me interested. IR has a little of my attention too, given his relative silence and one throwaway post (yeah yeah, same could be said for me, but I know I'm town).
Considering I didn't actually sign up for this game nor do I have much interest in the series at all, yeah, I'm half-assing it big time. And that's not even counting that work is very busy and I've got one minute left on my lunch break. Do what you will. I will stand by my D1 pressure sucks stance though.

vote No Lynch
You should watch the series. It's only 8 episodes, so you should be able to catch up fairly quickly.
When you say monster you're referring to the demigorgon?
This is incomplete, please also indicate the % to also out a townie and the % to out a mafia member. That will allow for a fuller picture.
That's exactly what I'm saying. 1/14 nonRokk players is the demogorgon.
I don't know how many mafia members are in the game, though. Let's say 3/14. 21%
6/14 are predetermined roles. Let's guess Eleven, white hair scum boss, demogorgon, Winona Rider and the sheriff. Probably Mike. That's 3 townies. So 28% chance to get a claim and a second try.
28% chance (4 players) to get a known townie and try again
21% chance (3 players) to get mafia
7% chance (1 player) to ID the demogorgon
43% chance (6 players) to get another townie/neutral
These numbers could be off if my guesses to necessary town pool and mafia numbers are wrong.
Remember, lynching a townie helps the mafia but not the demogorgon.
