The Noblest of Heroes: Beta Ray Bill can only target an opposing character with the highest point value on each opponent's force. The Ballad of Beta Ray Bill: STOP. Beta Ray Bill can use Toughness and Targeting: OO>. He can only be dealt damage by an opposing character with the highest point value on each opponent's force.
These are very interesting abilities, the first because it's an excellent way to both portray the character and an excellent way to reduce the figures cost and the second because it pretty much guarantees an epic showdown and instantly makes Bill the center of attention.
Who could afford to ignore Bill while he rampages unchecked among their swarm or support. Very Walt Simmonson, TKD approves!
Julia is one hell of an Incapacitate piece and brings some prob control to an plethora of teams, I've always felt kinda bad for Julia. When Jessica finally got back into action after her long hiatus she got shuffled to the background pretty severely.

thanks, man. you pointed out all the reasons for the for bill, a nice weakness to lessen the cost on the exp dial and a way to reinforce his character. meanwhile, his sp is a way to get around it so long as you're targeting the big bad on the opposing team. it's also a way to give him pseudo quake and ee at the same time while circumventing the new rules nerf to ee and giving quite a boost to quake. his stop click pairs nicely with the and sets him up for a showdown on the way down, particularly as his will enable him to tie up while not being tied up himself, or prevent a canny opponent from stifling bill easily on his 120pt value weakness
Julia was always cool to me, early '90s avengers were my jam. but like you said, she was put on a bus hard. omega flight was her last decent go . I thought her sp would make for a neat way to "snare" opponents and drag them into her passive plasticity as a different means of cc

I love how your US Agent's back half expresses how much of a bully he can be. He's not the good-hearted, noble Captain America and he's not above kicking an opponent when they're down.
ASK ME ONCE I’LL ANSWER TWICE JUST WHAT I KNOW I’LL TELL BECAUSE I WANNA!
SOUND DEVICE AND LOTS OF ICE I'LL SPELL MY NAME OUT LOUD BECAUSE I WANNA!
That dial does a good job of portraying the brutality of U.S. Agent. He tend to dish out the damage, although he doesn't have the staying power of Steve Rogers, which is also well displayed in this dial.
Walker tends to act more like a soldier or a an agent than a superhero, he can be intolerant and politically rigid. However he has displayed real heroism and compassion, a more complicated character than he at first appears, even if he gets used as a political football.
That is a really good dial, kudos!

Ever since the symbiote suit became a "thing" Marvel doesn't want to remind people that Julia wore the black and white first (and wore it better! White sleeves and boots really help make the outfit. Pete's just got a black onsie with a spider emblem)
It's a conspiracy I tells ya!
Are we forgetting about someone's Canadian heritage?

I wanted that mean streak to pop out, but tbf it's tempered on the cheap dial in that the best effect requires him to push himself to get that dmg bonus, so it showcases his grit to get the job done, too. he may be a jerk, but he's got heart. not unlike marvel's guy gardner

heh, clint would have to keep him on his toes to avoid the beatdown he got at the end of walker's wca run

I agree. I wanted to give walker some respect, so you could polish the character underneath. avoiding traditional leadership, I focused on passive dmg boosts to affect his tenure with the wca, invaders, etc. But when the chips are down, you can rely on him to give his all either via pushing or colossal stamina. You may not like him, but soldiers don't care about popularity, they care about completing the mission

I really like this representation of the classic Capt Britain. I also like seeing the Cap Britain Corp keyword (not sure why WK's stopped using it).
Good use of the optional trait. The hook for me is the regn power. The replacement effect on a 1-2 is very cool and makes sure the power action is never a wasted.
I am usually against having so many special powers and traits etc. This is the exception. I love each power devoted to an enhanced sense. I also like how you've linked them all with the supersenses. He seems very good for 100 points. I might make him unique to help with the cost somewhat.
I like blitz. The simplicity of the design is offset by the effectiveness of his special power. I might drop the range of his autodamage power to 3 or 2 even.
Man I would love to have this guy. No SS w/in 5 is nice, but SUPER UBER Incap is where it's at. with the improve targeting he is down right nasty.
Damn this guy would be such a nice addition to my all incap team
I like this Sas. I am a little confused about the defense power. I assume it means that if he's 125 pts he has a stop click, but at any points he can use Regen. At first reading I assumed he could only use the regen at 125 pts also. It may just me be, but it might need a tweak to the wording for clearity.
Also, I might throw some battle fury onto the damage special to go along with the CCE. It doesn't really need it, but it seems appropriate to the character. Adding an aspect of him coming back in Snowbirds body is seriously cool as well.
But the part I dig the most is bringing back the ata as a TA. I can only hope WK's sees gets a similar idea. Brilliant!
Now here's a dial I've been waiting on for a while. I love what you've done with her. Good job with her starting lines. You've represented her before and after her 'awaking' to the fullness of her powers nicely. The TK power is really well done. The only thing she's missing is ignoring Mystics TA, but with what she can do, not sure if you could fit that onto her dial for the points.
I really like the unorthodox take on this design. The limiting to attack highest point and the stop click combine to make the experienced line potent, but the full dial is so nice, it is hard not to play it at 200.

Ah, the short lived super patriot/ cap replacement. Never was a fan of this guy, but I sure do like this dial. I especially like his super patriot short dial, but his 100 points and the Colossal Stamina gift is freaking awesome. Here's a question. Would CS and MoE TA stack?
No idea who this version of guardian is but he is awesome. The #11 click is a mixed bag though. It is a extremely powerful click, but if I'm on click #1 and roll a 6 after I KO a scrub, I'm going to be pissed off. The standard dial is so potent and with the late dial SE has staying power that the 1 click uber dial can't compete with.
Overall, I'd give this dial a mixed review. I love the normal dial but the 130 points trait makes me lean towards fielding him at 70 exclusively.

the lack of cbc kw is saddening. generic corpsman would have been an awesome inclusion in whif, they kicked off the multiversal designations, after all. the sp was a merger of standard regen with an alter ego in all but name. I thought it'd be cool so that, as you say, that power action isn't wasted, but is gonna be worth something either way. he'll also put you on a sweet spot for wxm captain Britain

dd is the reason ss is in the game in the first place, so it seemed he should be the be-all-end-all to the power so I took it to the 9s with this. especially on click #1, he'll be just such a pain when he hits that ss roll that he might turn out to be not worth the risk. I slapped a silver ring on him, per your suggestion

thanks, I dropped his range to 3 so he's still danger-close but his ppb roll is still viable option. in the comics they make such a big deal out of his lightning operating more scientifically than others, not tossing bolts but simply linking current, so if he sees you, your hit.

yeah he had the curse of ill-defined ambiguous spirituality powers. what he demonstrated was recon-based astral projection but not teleportation, hence targeting instead of movement and his bull-roarer was used to induce trances and stupefy senses, so the obvious route on both of those. I think the end package would be a useful cc/support for mystics, which admittedly are swimming in that archetype

I figured the wording would put the restriction only on the STOP aspect, but the rest of the power, separated by the period would work at both point levels. I guess i'd need some more to chime in to say if it was confusing for them, too. bf would be on point for tanaraq, but I want to keep that power as clean as I can, limited to 1 power per result each.
we can only hope that the demise of ATAs will lead to the rise in more TAs. wonder woman's golden Ws and the red maple leaf of alpha flight are both prime contenders for new team symbols imho

thanks, as tdk called her earlier, she's support with teeth. she's the lightning lass of the alpha flight, it's very hard to run their lineups with her missing, let alone the initiative omega flight. I, too, am really hoping they get around to making her sooner than later.

awesome, I wanted to highlight the nobility of his character and also really establish him as the power common for the set. it's been a while since we've been able to rely upon that for sealed and beyond, so a hefty piece was called for and bill certainly should fit the, well, bill . plus, it'd be the most expensive/powerful bill we've had yet (until the camp made one comes out next month ).

thanks man, she should pull her weight as she shifts from cc/support to combat/tieup. up until force works (what a '90s name ) she had her heyday and the return of jessica drew didn't help her any. at least she got 1 last hurrah in omega flight before being relegated to perennial plot-device as the new madame web

cool, the economy dial is all about getting in and hitting hard. the vet has a bit more leadership potential too it, with it's expanded support package and the opg colossal stamina (watch out for Natasha, she's the gift that keeps on giving ).
i'd say colossal stamina and MoE would stack as they're similarly worded but differently named effects. but you wouldn't get 2 non-free actions in a turn, so "best case scenario" it'd only serve to deal you 2 clicks of unavoidable damage, so i'd just opt not to use it on any masters of evil

Michael pointer is best known as weapon omega later in dark reign. he absorbed all the "no more mutants" energy and accidently killed alpha flight, so there's a bit of an awkward backstory there. I hear what you're saying on the , I added in the "you may roll" that should have been there in the first place. thanks, man
thanks, pal. hope you enjoyed the peaks. whereabouts where you?
I was up in Big Sky, MT. My folks use to live there, so we went back for a family reunion. Unfortunately, as the poet says, you can never go home again. There has been so much development in the past 10 years or so. On top of that I am still recovering from knee surgery, so I really couldn't fully enjoy the locale.
This is a nice looking guardian--er-- Mac. I like that you didn't forget the origins of the suit with the improved movement. The resurrect is neat and helps make sure you get your moneys worth for the 80 points. Top dial Invincible is perfect.
