You're kind of right about the Ionic Form power, though it's a problem with new vs old wording. New wording that first click would be a Stop Click, and Stop Click powers are not Outwittable. (Though the clause that it can't be Ignored means it was not vulnerable to Pulse Wave. If it were unOutwittable, it would have said it couldn't be Countered.)

New rules would have "Protected: Pulse Wave" which I would stick with. Technically only the first click is a Stop Click though (since you only stop the first time the Power is Revealed, not "When this click is revealed" which would have made every click a Stop Click. I would argue first click is Protected: Outwit and Pulse Wave. Second two clicks are just Protected: Pulse Wave, But that's kind of hard to remember.

So, you're right, anyway, that Wonder Man would only take 1 from Mr. Oz's attack. But that also makes my placement of Cottonmouth problematic, as he moved into Wonder Man's spot. How should we deal with that?

I'd say you just redo Cottonmouth's position. I suppose he could try to attack Wondy for that matter.

And since we're saying ionic form is not outwitted, stands to reason that Wondy's damage would be penetrating.

I'll put Cottonmouth in K14. I'd love to reroll his attack, but given that it was a Crit Miss, that feels like cheating.
