Well, just to make sure that doesn't happen; I'm here to help! I think a good 3rd is a Mefist deck, a good 4th is a NecroFusion, a good 5th is a fiend controll/flooder (Mystic Tomato is key for Dark Jeroid and Newdoria) basically a Fiend version of a Tomato Controll. 6th can be Night Assailant abuse. 7th....Still thinking about it
Of course the whole thing was a joke at the start but if you're serious then I am too. If you want you can E-Mail me (just check out my profile) and I'll do my best to help you buddy
And just for everyone's information, I am NOT an original Fiend user. I just started lately; Waldo and Squid are as far as I know, and Thazha too I think
There is a reason for the name squid. I started off with my tentalces in several types of decks. I actually used it as my tag name when I was a kid. I always have my hands in a variety of things.
Yes, I started with Fiends, and warriors, ..and an old Fisherman deck (before fisherman was released, and a zombie/GB deck that used 3 Dragon Zombies, Dark Assailant, Labyrinth Wall. Things like that.
Number 3 is on its way. Its a Mesfit/Control. Sadly, our own Yata Garasu will not be featured.(sniff) I was kind of Busy last night and forgot to write it down. So, Ill see if I can remember it all....Ill post here when I have it.
PS, pyrofire.....I like the idea of Tomato/fiend control.\/ And #7 is going to be ANGRRR!! I have an idea for it. Ill pm it first to you and see if it sounds stable. :devious:
Lust. You'll find it under the 3rd of the 7 Deadly Sins, in Deck Depot.
With the loss of Graceful Charity, activating Forced requisition is harder than ever. Not like it was easy before. But if Night Assailant can get Discarded through Cheerful coffin, well.., you are back in business.
the main fiend is obviously Mesfit, but 2nd place goes to Protector of the Sanctuary. Ive never tried to use this card, and its restricted status sux, but I figured, why not try it out?
Ill keep trying for the other 4 Sins and post them as soon as I can.
Protector of the Sanctuary is just awsome with Morphing Jar.....
My friend and I created this Morphing Jar~Protector of the Sanctuary deck, and it dumped your oppenent's hand 80% of the time on the first turn. Then we saw the new restriction list with Protector of the Sanctuary and Morphing Jar on it. We just thought the whole world was against us.
Well anyways, I am helping my friend with his fiend deck before regionals, and I really need some fiend tactics(That means you Waldo!) lol. I am hoping you can explain the Terrorking Archfiend a little more. I personally dont think its worth it to go through all of that trouble for a 2000 attack monster, with an incredibly useless negate targeting effect. (Yes Useless!)
Here are the things that is will only negate if you roll the right number:
Change of Heart
Snatch Steal
Ring of Destruction
yep, and thats pretty much all of the "targeting" effects in the average cookie-cutter chaos deck, unless D.D. Warrior Lady is targeting......I am, however, a fan of the monster effect, negation.
Well I hope that someone can proove me wrong about a card that Waldo speaks to highly of.
I also do not see a point in maxing out 3 Kuribohs, I would much rather max out 3 Night Asailants and throw in a few Raigeki Breaks.....
You are saying to run all of these monsters, but there is definatly not enough room for all of them.
Please clarify a few things for my friend and I. (I am absolutly retarded when it comes to fiends)
Well, I'm not Waldo (please don't ban me Mr. Alimighty 8^D) but as a new convert/evangelist to the fiend world, here are my 10 bits.
It's not necessarily TerrorKing Archfiend by itself, but its a whole set of Archfiends that start doing serious damage. While the TerrorKing can negate itself by rolling a 3, if you have a DarkBishop Archfiend on the field, its allowed to negate effects targeting ANY archfiend on the field, so now you have double protection. Plus with Pandemonium, you can lose your Terrorking, and bring a DesRook Archfiend out. When your second TerrorKing gets destroyed, you can drop DesRook from your hand to bring TerrorKing back to life. TerrorKing is also an effect negator for the monster's it destroys, so you don't have to worry about the Jars or Man Eater Bugs disrupting your flow.
So that's a small taste from what I've seen. You can use a few traps/spells to make your opponents pay the lifepoint cost as well, plus a whole lot more.
Right, I know terrorking can be an amazing card when brought out, but I dont understand how Waldo can do it without disrupting the flow of his deck. I mean desrooks and such......almost no room for other "good" cards
Cylinders
Ring of Destruction
Change of Heart
Snatch Steal
D.D. Warrior Lady
Witch of the Black Forest
Thousand Eyes Restrict
Mystic Tomato
Shining Angel
Giant Rat
Sinister Serpent
Enemy Controller
Trap Hole
Exiled Force
Blowback Dragon
Those are just a few of the cards Terrorking can Negate by his (Dark Ruler) effect or negate by rolling 2 or 5.
The way you use Terrorking is to just use him. Need a blocker to stop that Don Zaloog or that 1500 atk set Terrorking, heck discard him to the graveyard if you don't run archfiends. Use Monster Reborn, Premature burial or call to bring him back. Use cards like Familiar Knight, Marauding Captain to special summon him to the field. I garuntee (I know its spelled wrong) when your opponent sees Terrorking on the field the first thing outta his/her mouth will be, "don't you have to roll to negate my monsters effect?!
Terrorking Archfiend
DARK/Fiend/4/2000/1500 You cannot Normal Summon or Flip Summon this card unless you have an Archfiend Monster Card on your side of the field. The controller of this card pays 800 Life Points during each of his/her Standby Phases (this is not optional). When this card is specifically designated as a target of the effect of a card controlled by your opponent, when resolving the effect, roll a six-sided die. If the result is 2 or 5, negate the effect and destroy the opponent's card. Also negate the effect of an Effect Monster that is destroyed by this monster in battle.
Treat Terrorking Archfiend as a level 4, non-fusion Dark Balter the Terrible. However, there ARE a few things you must understand in order to use Terrorking to his fullest potential...
1) "You cannot Normal Summon or Flip Summon this card unless you have an Archfiend Monster Card on your side of the field. "
This means that you cannot simply summon him. It also means that when the dreaded words "Change of Heart/Enemy Controller on your face-down monster" stumble out of your opponent's mouth, there's no need to worry. He can't flip summon him without an Archfiend monster on their side of the field. However, Terrorking can most DEFINITELY be special summoned with any card that can Special summon a level 4 monster (Marauding Captain, Familiar Knight, Cyber Jar, etc). The best play is to set Terrorking and wait for your opponent to destroy him, and when Terrorking hits the graveyard, discard Desrook to Special summon him from the graveyard. If you had Pandemonium active, you could search for a second Desrook Archfiend. Of course, a deck running 3 Archfiend Soldiers, 3 Desrook Archfiend, Summoner of Illusions with Fiend Skull Dragon, or even Summoned Skull, Skull Archfiend of Lighning or Lesser Fiend should have no problem Normal Summoning him.
2) "The controller of this card pays 800 Life Points during each of his/her Standby Phases (this is not optional). "
This is the hard part. Paying 800LP is usually a pain in the butt the 3rd time you pay it. However, 800LP can definitely be worth it sometimes. Somebody once asked me if 800LP is worth it just to keep a monster on the field and I said "Well, Terrorking is a level 4, non-fusion version of Dark Balter with 3 GREAT effects and the support of MANY cards in my deck. Pay 800 LP? Gladly!!"
3) "When this card is specifically designated as a target of the effect of a card controlled by your opponent, when resolving the effect, roll a six-sided die. If the result is 2 or 5, negate the effect and destroy the opponent's card."
Perhaps Terrorking's biggest weapon, his dice roll can counter MANY things The most used ones were already mentioned, but there PLENTY of other effects that target that Terrorking can COMPLETE destroy *coughBlackLusterSoldiercough*. However, that's not the most important part of that effect. The most important part of it is that the Dice roll happen while RESOLVING an effect. Meaning, you can chain back and forth all day long, but when the effect that targets Terrorking is about to resolve, you can actually interupt the chain, and have a chace to negate an destroy it. Another thing, Terrorking doesn't care WHAT Upperdeck says, HIS effect can cut into the resolution of a chain. Since the effect is already resolving, there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY for your opponent to counter Terrorking's dice roll. It has no spell speed and therefore CANNOT be chained to. Meaning, when you attack and your opponent activates, say, Magic Cylinder, neither of you will add more steps to the chain, you roll the die, roll a 5 and negate and destroy Magic Cylinder, and now, your opponent CANNOT activate anything else until the damage step.
4) "Also negate the effect of an Effect Monster that is destroyed by this monster in battle."
This is easy to explain. You've al seen it in fiend decks since the arrival of Ha Des.

New York, NY Homer: (Looking at Uruguay on a map) " Heehee! Look at this country! "You are gay.""
thanks for popping in Waldo and adding more to the well of fiends. Ive been faithfully pasting all the info into a concise fiend file, when I need to reference.
Terrorking is especially appropriate as I need to use it for one of my 7 Deadly Sins deck series.
And for those of you that are interested, I posted Sloth yesterday and Anger today, in the Deck Depot. Just search under 7 Deadly Sins and you will find them.
Ok waldo, profire, squid or anyone else I hope you are still reading this post.
I went to my local tourney and most of the people said that I was playing with an outdated deck (until I smashed them LOL). I went with a fiend control deck today and got 3rd. After the tournament was done I just sat around playing all of the top players that go each week. There is usually 1 of 3 people that wins each week so I know who to play. My question is what do you think is the best fiend type deck out today. Like I said I played fiend control which was mefist, yata, and necrofear. Is Archfiend or Ha Des types of decks better. The ONLY decks that I had any trouble with all day was..... Chaos of corse.
I won 6 straight matches then lost in the semi's ( to the tourney winner and Chaos) and then won the last mach for 3rd. If any of you can help with this chaos crap let me know.
Thanks in advance
Hey i see FIEND'S i'm only in seek of fiend's warlord that could help me whit my deck so if those FIEND'S that will like to healp an other FIEND plzzz go to deck depot and seek fot my thread

Lord Margoth
Omg, the best most annoying fiends to run in order from 1-5, 1 being the best (I should know I play them all the time, and have been for the past two years):
1. Kuriboh - LMFAO My friend played painful choice and monster reborned 3 Dark Magician of Chaos and then Raigeki'd my 2 Necrofears and attacked with all 3, I had 3 Kuriboh's in my Hand so NO damage, HAHA! He was so distraught he literally fell out of his chair. Got two of his Magician of Chaos with the Necrofears he Raigeki'd, hehe.
2. Yata - Nuff said.....
3. Dark Necrofear - Oppenent plays mirror force against three Slate Warriors, and BAM he's got one more fiend to deal with...Kill it and I get your monster! MST it and I take another monster!
4. Dark Ruler - Duh your opponent gets no effects....
5. Mefist the Infernal General - HeHe, Mefist plus Dark Ruler, no EFFECT you lose a card!
Most annoying spellcaster, just to throw this in, Peten the Dark Clown! I HATE HIM!
Well, LODragons, it sounds like you are off to a fine start with Fiends.
Personally I have to think that the Fiend/Control you are running would stand the best chance against Chaos, as it eleminates what problems you can in the hand before Chaos hits the field. Work on adgusting your side deck a little more. I would think that there is a chance that RFP cards can help. But, its difficult to judge without playing in your tourney myself.
One change I might consider, though is Necrofear for Dark Ruler. though he doesnt have the Special Summoning, which can be a bonus and a curse, his effect of negating other monsters could prove invaluable for halting the searchers that many Chaos decks employ.
# 6 in the 7 Deadly Sins is GREED. And true to form, it is greedy. Its in the Depot now. The last of the 7 Sins will be tomorrow, plus a link to all of the decks in one thread (if I can figure out how to do it)
EDIT: Well its monday morning here and the last deck is up: ENVY. I hope you all enjoyed things here in our friendly neighborhood fiend world. Keep enjoying what you do and remember, "Strategy is a way of Life!"
:p

Wicked Breaking Flamberge - Baou Oh yes!!! I absolutely L - O - V - E this card!!! This little equip card gives a measly 500 attack boost...not much by today's standards. It costs a card from the hand to activate, which is considered "terrible hand management" by most. However, if you give ANY fiend a 500 attack boost, they'll make your opponent sorry they EVER crossed your path. And sending a Fiend to the graveyard isn't exactly the worst thing in the world for a fiend deck.
However, "Wicked Breaking Flamberge - Baou" isn't meant for a fiend deck. I mean, don't get me worng, it's really great to equip this on Mefist the Infernal General. But "The Fiend Sword", as I like to call it, is meant for OTHER decks. To give the power of fiends to other decks. Have you ever equipped Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning with the Fiend Sword? Airknight Parshath? Vampire Lord? Jinzo? Beserk Gorilla? This card is giving all players to bask in the glory of Dark Ruler Ha Des without actually running him. It's a quick way to get necessary cards into the graveyard, put your opponents on the ropes, and allow you to take the offensive.
Yes that's right!!! Now YOUR monster can become Fiends!!! But you must act now. This limmited time offer will NOT be available in stores. Act Now!!! Call 1-800-FIEND-ME. That's 1-800-F-I-E-N-D-M-E
By the way, squid. I love your 7 deadly sins!!!
