I just want to say thanks. Today has been a hard day due to a death in our "work" family. Somehow the people on this site always find a way to make a bad day good for me. I really appreciate this, a lot.

1) Dalton, not trying to offened you or anything but what about people who go to the 'small' PCQ's and there are only say.. 8 people signed up in constructed. I think that means there is only 3-4 rounds of Swiss, or you go to the Top 8. Then a person wins in the low populated PCQ. Now, to me, that doesn't seem as 'deserving' as you're trying to give credit to all the Qualifiers. Just a thought...

2) I think Tahamoe needs to win the nominations (besides me of course) because he has the COOLEST avator on Realms...

Don't get me wrong, I think that players who qualify from 8 person PCQs might also be "undeserving", but that is not the point.

Making that argument is kinda like saying "let's legalize drunk driving because it happens every day anyway". The old "2 wrongs don't make a right" argument. Adding more "undeserving" people to the PC just 'cause there are already "undeserving" people there doesn't make any more sense than the above.

And besides, if no one in your area wants to play the game then what are we gonna do? Not let you qualify? Make you take a plane trip to get to a PCQ? It's probably better to let these "small PCQ" winners play, who knows, they might be really really good and just unfortunate that not many players play around them.

Instead of saying "VSuniverse is a jokesite", I'll say- there are those who consider universe a 2nd rate site in comparison to the veracity and concise, stoic acumen of the common poster on the realms and thus, expect more from realms, lest it fall in with the sites that are not taken so seriously.


This respect must be protected and maintained once it has been earned so, VSrealms Admin, please help us help you by approaching future promotions with a slightly greater degree of forethought and acknowledgment of this game as a franchise.

So that we all may act to crystallize VSrealms as an online technical institution for gaming, instead of it becoming just another silly chatroom.

I would be proud to be a part of that.
