I like the new Mr. Freeze a lot, but it's a shame not to have the Arkham affiliation on his; like the Star City previewer said, Blackgate Prison fits together really nicely with Vengeance.
Which is probably why he doesn't have the Arkham affiliation, really. Either that or they're getting stingier with dual-affiliations. Personally I hope it's the former.
Who's that guy in that picture giving those files to Batman in "Tomorrow's Preview?" And who is this "Caine?" David Cain? Michael Caine, the guy who played Alfred in Batman Begins? Anyone would like to chime in on this one?
Villians united is looking to be a nice little team. They might just team up with arkham so they can abuse black gate. I've got to go find my copies of black gate, buried in a box that is located in the infinity realm, aka my closet. Also death stroke has appeared in a number of various series before this all started and what not. While it is true that he has seen only so much play and might have gone unnoted there is reason for this. While penguin and two face have less title appearances in the dcu they do have had something that until recent slade didn't. They have had a number of apperances in the batman animated series and batman movies. While Mr.Wilson has a bit of a broader range when it comes to comic titles, the average person who has seen a batman movie or the cartoon series could in all liklyhood tell you who the penguin and two face are. With the Teen Titans cartoon series however, the Terminator managed to see more play amongst the general population and started playing a bit of a bigger role in the DCU. While slade has been there since new teen titans issue 2 if I'm correct, he hasn't been as big of a name for the reason that the general population of casual readers didn't know about him. Two face and penguin are more well known because they are consistantly a batman villian and amongst the most infamous of his rouges gallery. They also just generally run around in gotham messing with batman and his ilk. Slade however is a guns for hire man who runs about the dcu, not caring who he has to fight really just as long as he gets paid. There are exceptions to this point as with the titans hunt and poor jericho, may he run around in a chip some where in titans tower until they decide to dig that up too. The point is most have never heard of the titans, and thus might not know of slades full history, making him less marketable then some might like. I however am very pleased with the role he is taking in the dcu as he has started appearing in alot of front issue comics. While it can be argued that he has always been there, I have never picked up an issue of his comic from the 90's nor green arrow, birds of prey, or teen titans until the more recent arcs. Slade may have been in quite a few titles, but he needs to be in them rather consistantly and making bigger impacts on the characters to be really well known. However there is no debate to this anymore, identity crisis has proved this to us how awesome slade was and assured him a bigger role in the dcu when he managed to do all that b.a.m.f. action to the justice league. I imagine that if the justice league cartoon series were to continue slade might have seen play in it, speedy certainly did. He also would have seen more play if the teen titans cartoon would have continued as well.

It's probably David Said, the Checkmate agent who helped Batman clear Bruce Wayne's name after he had been framed for the murder of Vesper Fairchild by David Cain.

David Caine, the father of Cassandra Caine, the [until OYL at least] most recent Batgirl.
