It offends you? No surprise there. You're the prototypical glass cannon.
Stereotypical. Prototypical would mean he's experimental, and thus probably not very good at either the "glass" or "cannon" parts, which we know to be false on both counts. ;)
That said: I agree that it's a little lame to use the avatar.

Can't prototypical also mean original? As in first?

Since no matter how loud we yell UDE can't hear us, maybe we could go silent, my only concern is for the traffic levels on these sites we love, and I don't know that a whisper would be heard any more clearly than a scream, I suppose we could all log on and catch up with old threads but not post any more untill we hear from the cardboardgods. It might be a stretch and impossible to pull off, but it might not be. I could do it I obviously have nothing worthwhile to say here anymore anyway.
honestly I don't like that idea. If UDE wants to discontinue the game, a silence approach would solidify their feelings on the subject. It's as if the only thing keeping this game 'alive' is the community right now.
Nothing the player base does at this point (or has done for the past few weeks) will impact the decision. The game was already on it's potential way out, and then the economy took an even bigger dump on top of that. Now we just wait for word.
And even those few who ALWAYS seem to try to hold onto some hope for the game, even in the face of certain doom (yeah, that means you Stu! hehe...) are starting to be a bit more honest as of late. The writing is on the wall.
I saw it starting to falter about 2 sets ago, and have not spent as much money or time on it as I used to. Weened myself off of it maybe. I woudl love for it to be the flagship of UDE and go on forever... and I think it should. But Yu-Gi-Oh is still their top dog. And even as crappy as the WOW card game is, and how horrible events turn out, and how crappy the support is, they are pumping ever more money into it since it has such a large player base they want to tap. They throw money at it trying to save it... good money after bad per se.... but a bad game is a bad game. PC gamers wont immediately flock to a card game, and they are learning that the hard way I think.
If not for in game items in the card game, it wouldn't even be doing as well as it is now. But it is seen as the potential winner, with lower overhead cost I think, so it will stay, and VS will die.
Whether they make an announcement or not, last set or not...enjoy the game, play with your friends, spend as much or as little cash as you want. It's a game. It's supposed to be fun.
