I will be surprised if you can buy Set 1 forever. At some point it will be retired and attrition plus an increased player base should cause prices to remain steady pr rise. There is no guarantee of this by any means, but it is a plausible scenario. Not to mention that if the expected flood of pack one cards hits the market during closed beta, prices may stay low until we get a flood of new players in open beta. This could cause prices to rise. And, ultimately some prices will rise while others fall. that is how CCGs work.

Unless the person pays for it I don't consider it a done deal. There are a lot of troll ebay accounts.

MC, there is no way for any of us to know if the transactions occurred, but it seems like the majority of buyers follow through. I have sold 10-15 items in the last month and I have had only 1 non-paying buyer.

I've dealt with a few... questionable people, but I don't think I've ever had someone not pay for something eventually.

Yeah, it is a variable we cannot control or measure, so it is best to just assume it away.

I've found that the ratings system is pretty good at letting you know.

I was speaking specifically to MC's point that not all the sales of Gax may be valid. It is possible several of these sales did not actually occur, but we cannot deduce that so it makes no sense to try.

Yeah, for the most part. You do get some really stupid people; I've seen people leave negative feedback with a positive comment. If you look at the person's neutral/negative feedback you can usually tell if it's unwarranted, though.

Hahaha totally - I do some work in an industry where ratings are everything and I love it when you get comments like:
