bringing your new boat?

My new trolling motor finally arrived, so I'm going to test it out. I'm not going to actually troll, but just use it to power my little boat.

Did you know that all summer there was a dearth of fishing supplies, equipment, boats, etc.? It appears that 1) Factories shut down because of Covid, and so new inventory wasn't being produced. And 2) A lot of people used their stimulus checks to buy things like boats. I was at my local Bass Pro Shop about a month and a half ago, and they had NO boats for sale. Zero. They were sold out. I was there to get an Ugly Stik fishing rod. They were also sold out of those. I ordered my motor about 3 months ago. Crazy year.

Speaking of fishing...

Anyone ever notice that there is a "sexy" version of everything on youtube? It's like halloween costumes. For related videos I have come across sexy guitarists, drummers, people opening packs of card, asmr stuff is a given, and my latest one is sexy fishing. No worries about catching fish because the girl in the video is wearing too small of a bikini or thong, or well, you get the idea.

I have not noticed that sexy version of stuff on YouTube, but Rule 34 will not be denied.

Man, it was so hard to think of a Blind Guardian song to choose that I would hope be the gateway for your enjoyment. They are such a solid band and their whole catalog is AMAZING. When I first heard them in college I was completely enraptured with the band.

This video is so old. I mean look at his computer monitor and everything. This was pre youtube and the first glimpse of an immensely talented guitarist. This was when he was in the band Jag Panzer who were opening up for Iced Earth at the time. Broderick would then tour with Nevermore (with Jeff Loomis) and end up in Megadeth for 10? years before moving on.

Nothing really caught my ear. I realized about half-way through that I was treating it as background music.
