Kirk's expression suddenly changed to one of rage. "Get your hands off me! I don't need your help!" He took a swing at McCoy, who fortunately managed to duck.
"Jim! What's gotten into you?" McCoy asked.
"I believe it would be the being they call Despero," Spock said. "He is controlling the captain's mind."
McCoy rummaged through his bag and pulled out a hypo of a sedative that he used to calm his friend.
"Your attempts to save your friend are admirable, doctor, but ultimately a waste of time," the In-Betweener said, knocking the sluggish Kirk to the ground with a blast.
Creed Leadership - 6. Haven't made one of those in a little while. I gets a Friend on Dial...4
Despero to MC O'Brien, AV11 on DV17. Gets 9. Let's go for Janice this time. AV10 on DV16. Gets 4, can't PC that, but O'Brien still takes 1 at least for the MC
Trader to O19, Perplexes Paladin's AV to 10
Paladin RCE on Miles, AV10 on DV17. Gets 5, that I can PC with Dario. Makes it 9. 4 more KOs Miles.
Dario TKs Spymaster to K11
Spymaster on Spock, AV11 on DV17. Gets 7. Spock makes it 6. Still enough. 2 to Spock after Toughness.
It doesn’t matter much but why does Miles take 1 damage for mind control?
Because Despero says so:
Quote
ENJOY THE TRAGIC MEMORIES, MARTIAN: Mind Control with 3 targets. When Despero uses it, after resolutions deal 1 penetrating damage to each character he hit.
Creed Leadership 1
Not really too much I can do here. In-Betweener Perplexes his Damage to 5. Phases to O15 on Beetle. AV11 on DV17. Gets 12. Ouch. Well, skips over his SS and even with Toughness from the Pod is plenty enough to KO him.
But that's a really bad position for me to get anyone to to block, so once again I'll have to deal with whatever replacement you bring in
Weasal comes in. A throwaway for sure but this turn he may be useful. Moves to M9.
Electro ports to N9, av is 11 thanks to Chameleon. Ports to N10. Attacks IB and Paladin. Rolls 8. Your pc is unable to help. With Chameleon and Weasel, 8 is enough. And that kos IB who is now on my side, last click.
Chameleon tks Electro to O3.
McCoy tries to heal. Gets 7. He's back.
IB makes his av 11. Phases to O12 and attacks IB and Despero. SC is 4. Rolls 6. I doubt Despero would pc that but I'll let you decide.
Ock sides to J5.
So IB is koed and a zombie, 3 to Trader unless you choose to pc.
I don't think I answered you back about the number of Zombies. While I thought we had gone with three, I can work with 5.
Creed Leadership - 4
Okay, In-Betweener is much too dangerous to just let you have, so gotta get him out of there, but maybe I can get one last use out of him.
Despero to MC him, AV11 on DV16. Gets 7.
In-Betweener makes his AV 11, Phases to M12, attacks McCoy and Weasel, AV11 on DV16 , MCCoy gets +1 for Hindering. Gets 6. McCoy's SS is 4, so let's give it the Doc.
In-Betweener takes that Penetrating from Despero and is KOd
Spymaster RCE for +1/+1 on Weasel, AV10 +1 on DV16. Gets 5. Enough for a KO.
Dario TKs Trader to M11
Trader to M9 to block Weasel
The Chief comes in as my replacement, WF version. Wheels himself up to O19. Using his Assemble the Outcasts he'll give Paladin Sidestep. Then Perplex Paladin's Damage to 3
Paladin Teleports, then Sidesteps to O8. He takes a shot at MCCoy. AV9 on DV16. Gets 4.
Chief will Mastermind to Callisto.
Time for my new stuff. I'll give Spymaster Sloth so he can heal 1 now. I'll sit on the Feat
