You may not even want to bother. Lightshear just finished his mission, and Clixhunter, the last one, is on Turn 8 of 10. It should be done in a couple days.
Hey RookieBats, are you gonna be real busy this summer, since school is out, or are you going to have more time? I was just wondering. Also, is this just going to go through the summer, or will you be able to continue after school starts up again? Just wondering.
I have no social life, so, at the worst, I will only be as busy as I have been (if I can land a summer job). Otherwise, I should have more time. I think I should be still available into next year (I hope so, since I planned the pacing of this to be a long, drawn out thing). If I'm not, we should try to find another GM to carry on for me. I want to see how this thing pans out in the long term.
Each time I make a change to the rules, I edit the master copy I keep in a Word file. The only problem is getting it to a place where you can download it.
Have you thought of setting up a Yahoo group? They're free and, as I've heard, pretty easy to get running. It could be an information hub for the campaign. Just an idea, if you're interested in something like that.
"One man is born a hero, his brother a coward. Babies starve, politicians grow fat. Holy men are martyred, anchovies grow legion. Why? Why why why why why? Luck! Blind stupid simple doo-dah clueless luck!"
Alright, Clixhunter is almost done with his first X-Men mission. After that, give me a couple days to write the new missions, and then we'll be in the second issues of our campaign. Plus, Harvey_Dent210 is going to join our little adventure. He's going to be the Marvel Knights, a.k.a. Marvel Unaffiliated. His team is gonna feature such characters as Spider-Man, Daredevil, Blade, Elektra, and Dr. Strange. Welcome to the game, Harvey!
Since Harv missed the first issue, instead of having him play that and everyone else waiting, and rolled 2d6 each for Spidey and Daredevil, and the result of the rolls is how much they earned in the first mission. Spidey got 10, and Daredevil got 6. He got 11 TXP for leftover team-building points (the five characters on his team come to 199 points), so I'll add four more as if he beat a fair-sized villain, for a total of 15 TXP. The rest he'll have to do on his own.
Okay, I wrapped up X-Men #1, and so all the first issues are finished. According to the rules, Oogie's got a couple days to do what he can in his training mission, and hopefully in that time I'll be able to write decent missions for you all. I'm gonna forecast something kinda special for #3, and then something really special for #4-6. So just persevere past this next mission, and we, like Emeril, will be kicking it up a notch.
For now, here's the final numbers for everyone's first mission in the Heroclix RPSC.
Titans:
Nightwing got 4 TAP, Hawk got 8.
Avengers:
Cap got 6, Quicksilver 11, and Scarlet Witch 3.
JLA:
Aquaman got 9, Plastic Man got 3, and Booster Gold got 7.
X-Men:
Wolverine got 2, Cyclops got 0.
And, just so it's all in one place, once again, the Marvel Knights:
Spiderman got 10, and Daredevil got 6.
And the point totals for the teams, including leftover TXP from building your teams.
Titans: 67 TXP, 2 TAP
Avengers: 15 TXP, 3 TAP
JLA: 27 TXP, 3 TAP
X-Men: 4 TXP, 2 TAP
Marvel Knights: 15 TXP
And that's issue #1. Stay tuned for more exciting adventures.
Just an interesting piece of trivia, it's been exactly one month since I posted for the first mission. Maybe my reference to issues of comicbooks was prophetic. Hopefully things will start to go more smoothly now that we've had a trial run. I don't have any more trips planned, either.
Reposted from the JLA mission, in response to some IAP/TAP confusion between me and RookieBats:

Okay, but Plas did 3 clicks of damage to Catwoman, and recieves an extra 2 for KOing her, right? So he'd have 5 IAP, not 3. And Aquaman only gets 8 because he couldn't pick up that light object;
For TAP, here's my math:
14 clicks of damage
12 for KOing Catwoman (48x1/5=9.6 round up to 10, +2=12)
23 for capturing Grundy (48x2/5=19.2 round down to 19, +4=23)
49 total TAP - almost 10 TXP (9.8).
I double checked all my numbers, so unless there was a rules clarification somewhere I missed, my figures should be right. Let me know if I'm missing something; I'm still figuring out this whole system.
