The last hour was great, the first hour and half/two hours was horrible. Really didn't want to watch Shia look for a job for an hour and a half :-/
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
The last hour saw Shia the Beef blow Starscream's head off while dangling from an alien grappling hook he shot into Starscream's eye, Rose whatshername trick Megatron in the lamest and most juvenile way possible and Optimus Prime, with one arm missing, beat Megatron in about 3 seconds. This is, of course, in addition to watching Rose scream and Shia constantly dodge death when I was really hoping a building would fall on them and end my pain.
I don't call that great, I call it god awfully stupid, horrid and blasphemous.
The CGI was cool, I definitely admit that, but sadly, that was literally all the movie had going for it.
Definitely agree with you on the looking for a job part, that as well was totally pointless, poorly acted and a waste of time.

The Ever Growing Trickster and Pied Piper KO List!
U Ganthet, Labcoat Beast, Cap and Bucky
Not removing this until we get Clock King and The Rose-01/23/11
Come on, NECA-Marvel Horror Theme Set 2011!
Does anyone here have a Chase KC Superman from Crisis, 2099 Ghost Rider or 2099 Ravage? I also need them for a team I'm making. Check my trade thread out, I've got WL Hal Jordan and some other good SRs to trade for them.

Some of us haven't seen the movie and would have appreciated spoiler tags. I refuse to see it in the theater, but I will eventually see it.

Errr...my bad. Sorry dude. As sharp as my mind is, even I am one to make mistakes.
Although I may have just saved you some money. And if you're a Transformers fan, I may also have saved your childhood.
No problem. That's why I won't go see it in the theater, though. I grew up on Transformers. I had SOOOOOO many of the toys and watched all the cartoons. I didn't feel like paying money to have my childhood raped by Michael Bay.

Also, do any Ogres have an extra E Wizard from Sinister, CT Medusa or SI She Thing for trade? I need those for the Frightful Four team I mentioned. I'd also like a Vet Hydro Man, RV Wizard and REV Trapster if anyone has those. I watched the episode of the Fantastic Four with the Frightful Four and I really want to play a Frightful Four team! Even though Wizard, Trapster, Sandman and Medusa are the original team, I'm cool with expanding.

Usually I can gauge how much people actually like a set by all the trading that happens in the trade forum. For this set the trade forum has been very slow compared to past sets. Meaning that usually within an hour a person's trade thread is bumped off the first page because of all the rampant trading. That has not been true since the release.
Despite our own prejudices and our opinion could we say that Captain America is a bad set?

The other driver's insurance company is accepting liability for the accident. They've made me a generous offer on my car, enough to pay off the remaining balance and leave me enough for a nice down payment and tag/tax on a new car. I'll actually come out ahead on this.

I'd say no, prejudices and opinion logged. "Bad" can mean many things. Mechanically, there is little room left for it to be called 'bad'. Perhaps so-called mainstream Marvel fans (who basically like the X-Men) might be offput by the character selection. Perhaps the preview selection did the damage as much as anything. No offense to Munchoboy but, the previews as opposed to what was left over?
Perhaps people don't have money.
I have stuff to trade, but am lazy when it comes to getting it up, especially since I already have 1-63. Which brings me to the next point...collation has been up since DC7th. It's been way easier to get a set in 2 cases (at least 1-60) since that time. One per case Chases means you 're probably going to be satisfied unless you just don't like the Chase you got (and they are all good in their own way).
I could probably say more, but to sum up, it's complicated.

Everyone wants me to see Transformers... but I've seen none of them and have no interest. And now that I read KOBO's take, I have even less interest (which shouldn't be possible).
Phant, there is the possibility that since Wizkids produced so much of the set, a lot of people have been buying it and thus have no need to trade for it. Another possible explanation is that people might really like the set and are thus hanging onto the pieces.
One thing that gives credit to your thought is the rapid decline of chase prices on the secondary market. Pieces that started at 130 or so are now down to 50-75...
And of course, I still haven't found any (but I stopped looking).
