Agreed. This was my thought as well. With him absorbing a heavy object, he will get +3 to attack, +1 to Movement or Defense, +2 to damage, have Impervious and Outwit.

And this BEFORE adding on any resources.

At 225? He is terrible.

At 25? There may be some figures he is amazing on, need to think on it.

Ion Shines when paired with a green battery and someone who can make good use of his damage reducers. Here's a good example for putting up a near constant 21-22 defense at people.

Star-Lord gets +1 to non-damage off the GL ring and pushes to Force of Will.
Copying Racoons 19 Defense and taking +1 Defense and Range with Ion puts him at 21 Defense/22 at range. Meanwhile Racoon gets Energy Shield from the green Shield and has access to PenBlast from Parallax or Impervious/Stealth while clearing or when he doesn't need PenBlast. Meanwhile when hes next to Star-Lord he can boost his attack to a 13 and bump him to 4 damage with Enhancement.

Add in the Green Lantern recourse and you are ready to go.

Torn on the other entities - it feels like neither Ion nor Butcher have quite the utility as Parallax, Ophidian, and Adara. Ion's utility as a possessor is clear, but definitely not the same role of "primary attacker" booster that Ophidian and Parallax have excelled in.

Butcher, on the other hand, might be the first entity that I think will be more badass on the field vs. possessing someone else.

Yeah, Green gives Willpower for his 1st click thanks to the green ring, and you can give him Decoy construct for Shape Change.

Heck while you're at it, why not have him carry around Despotellis w/ Adara, so now you have to get through a 20 defense too? And guess what, that still keeps an "Entity" keyword theme team.

Whoever Ion is possessing wont have Willpower from the battery. Since Ion gives the Green Lantern Corps keyword they get the +1 from the ring instead.
