the reason i evade wit toxin is cause i get a direct hit with him, so there4 he cannot get stun, so i evade to do extra damage

I know we've talked alot about SSS, and how sf should stall. I just read the metagame article about MJ, and it's at least interesting. It seems like a unique mix of aggro and control (in the form of protecting your characters and drawing alot of cards), and I like the deck. I would make a couple changes though:

1st off, the deck from metagame is jank. jank is fun. its not supposed to win the next pc, and since this is the sf strat/tact thread, this is the best place to talk about it. so no dissing. ;)

next off, toxin's power triggers whenever he gets stunned. so, I say why not make him usefull while he takes a bite out of your oponent's life? and i know you were trying to use toxin's evasion ability twice, but due to how priority and the timing works, that cannot happen. & I'm pretty sure I'd rather draw a card than deal 2-ish damage (creeper).

when u evade wit toxin, at the start of the recovery phase, u recover him, so u can evade again, then normally recover him, thats how u or sf can beat glock, i mean high voltage does the same wit electiv eve, w/e her name

except there's no point of priority where you are allowed to do that!

HighVoltage hasn't done that in the metagame reports I've read ...

and I wasn't talking about glock specifically. 4-6 extra damage before katma tui comes out wont help that much either

You can, because Toxins Evasion - Recovery Effect goes on the chain, once it resolves he recovers. You are then allowed to add his Evasion to the chain, but since its past the "At the start of the recovery phase" he will not recover again unless he is your Free normal recovery for that turn.

And yes, it has been done in quite a few High Voltage reports, go back and re-read the ones where the deck first saw play. I can't remember what 10K that was, Auckland?

To add to the actual thread at hand, I've been playing various builds of Spider-Friends ever since I first started playing, I fell in love with Spidey and his friends once I picked up the starter. It went from a mono-build, to a GK/SF build (before it got 2nd at a 10K), and now its SF/Morlocks, and I've been having the most success with the Morlocks version. The main reason is ESU Science Lab, I love drawing a card right before playing Backs Against the Wall. :laugh:

well, so i messed up one rule. big deal. im not trying to go out of my way to flame ppl or to dis ppl, ya know ... this isnt the kind of thing to post in a thread, either. unless you like having other ppl read the things you type.

You have made good suggestions in this thread, and some that we have cleared up. Confusions have been made clearer, like how you brought this to my attention. There's no point to insult a person whom you can't even see, and if you don't stop, I will get a mod to warn you. I've tried to look past it, that the realms is a great site & that i can't imagine hostility on it .... but you are making it very difficult. idk y this whole thing started either. its gay. & its not getting the thread anywhere. I thought we were through w/ this a couple days ago ... but i guess you can't stop acting in that jerky way. if you do, then coolness. if you don't, well too bad for you. As of yet I have not insulted you or anything. arguing is to be expected, as a result of not knowing accurate information or tension.

they have posted 3 sf-related articles in the past 5 months, & i think thats completely osm. you can tell they want to see sf crack into tier 1, esp. w/ how they "should've" already...

In my honest opinion, the MJ deck on metagame looks fun to play, but will prolly be terrible in terms of actually winning.

Well, it is MJ. kinda hard to make a deck actually work around her ... I dont think that it could've been routed better, imo.
