I adore him, but then again I'm a Cosmic Marvel Buff. I also love the fact that they gave him the Annihilators keyword. However, if just ONE of it's members is 260+ points, I hat to see what happens when they update the REST of the team! 350 Surfer here we come!
I think you'll need at least 1200 points to fit all of them.
Longest-Reigning Drunken HeroClix Champion - anyone got a liver?
Mine "shipped" Tuesday AM via Kindle app on my phone.
Yeah, yeah, "I just like the *feel* of a book" and all that other stuff people say-- can't say it matters to me any more. Having a library (and bookstore) in my pocket is awesome.
I bought mine... IN A BOOK STORE! I got it at a decent price (30% off) and as I carry it around back and forth to work and stuff it's clear to me that I can use it as a deadly weapon should the need arise. It is, as expected, gigantnormous.

Quasar is miles better than Phoenix in my opinion. Still not the best, but I dislike Phoenix for what she does. I'd rather play Vulcan over Phoenix, and I'm not a big fan of Vulcan either.

Yeah, she's alright, but I play her mainly for the sculpt. Pretty!

With all that said, there are also reasons why this could be a great set:
A, as far as playability goes, this set is second to none. It's got quality dials at every rarity. There are some bad ones, but that happens in every set. If this set doesn't have the name recognition, it sure has the quality playability. That might cause the "buzz" to take a little extra time to get off the ground because it takes people time to actually play the figures to determine they really like them instead of seeing "Character Y" and deciding they are the best figure ever without even seeing the dial.
Better than Crisis? Ehh...I still think that's the most playable set.
1) What building was it? I work in downtown Chicago, but I can't remember what building they CG'ed for Wayne Tower.
2) What corner was the opening scene at? My wife and I have debated this (she works down here too). We know a lot of the locations, but this is one we haven't been able to identify.
1) Board of Trade. it's heavily CG'ed of course, but that's the one. Same building (un-CG'ed) is at the end of the block for the Batman/Joker showdown. That same block is also where the funeral was shot, and also where most of the Chicago outdoor scenes in Untouchables was filmed.
Wayne Enterprises relocates between films to some building I'm not sure about.
2) Franklin and Van Buren, facing Northeast diagonally across the intersection (looking at the Payday Loan Store, a visual reference to the heist that was surely too good to pass up). It's actually facing *away* from the way Joker is supposed to be heading, the Underworld Bank which was a couple blocks West on Van Buren, the South side of the old Post Office.
Yeah, she's alright, but I play her mainly for the sculpt. Pretty!
Fair enough.

HERETIC! Hammer of Thor was the most playable and all-around best set.

Ayuh. It was mostly clips from the first two, with one REALLY brief shot of Bane's face. I'm having a hard time getting excited for it this early, and that trailer didn't really change my mind.

Maybe I better trade my extra Quasar now while people are making the giraffe all popular and junk! Seriously, the dude's neck is stupid-long!
Also, to those that own a Quasar or can look at a friends' copy, take a look at him face on. His face looks like Butthead's pal Beavis! It's kind of weird.

With all this Quasar talk, does anybody have an extra that they might be looking to trade? If so, please take a look at my H/W list and let me know if you see a few things you'd like in exchange for him. And yes, I know he looks like Beavis. I'm okay with that.
The other driver's insurance company is accepting liability for the accident. They've made me a generous offer on my car, enough to pay off the remaining balance and leave me enough for a nice down payment and tag/tax on a new car. I'll actually come out ahead on this.
That's awesome! At least that's one less thing to worry about!

I have an extra, but alas there isn't anything that you have that I need. If you can convince a mutual friend to get me one of the remaining Cap pieces that I need though...
