No matter the wording of the card, the opposing player gets to choose the order of effect during his turn (when damage is dealt).
Exactly. Whenever there are simultaneous effects, the active player (in this case, the player making the attack) chooses in which order the simultaneous effects are calculated.
Very glad sentinel is different point costs. They should have done that with the other sentinel, which is a shame because I like his sculpt better but just don't see playing him at 300 points. I can't say I like a sentinel having exploit weakness or psychic blast though.
12 clicks on Holocaust confirms that it was just a dumb idea to make him a colossal. I realize it makes sense for the set because he will only fit in super boosters, but he could be tweaked slightly, made 350 points and just put on a double base. The guy just isn't that big. It's not a huge deal though, his sculpt is gorgeous and warrants forgiveness for strange game design decisions.
that sentinel would have been a better official preview than the other one i think
still no information about the "special" rules or not for colossals (immunities, multi-attack, capture)
but this second sentinel seems better than the other since there *is* a 200 pts version anyway, and some "swarm" flavor to it (enhancement)
madrox is very strangely done, and hasn't the x-men TA so isn't as good for me as the common one (i play x-men TA usually, alot)
the nemesis seems quite good even if, like many colossals, costy in points

Does that mean he can't be damaged at all? Someone deals him 5 damage, he ignores 4 of it, then reduces the last 1?
Though his special power 'ignores' all but 1 damage (instead of reduce), I would still consider it a damage-reduction power since he won't take all of the damage. You would need to choose between his SP or Toughness. If Madrox would deal 1 damage (for example), Blob could opt to use Toughness. However, if he was to take 5 damage, you would normally choose to opt for his SP instead.
I think the Jamie Madrox dial is very cool. But am I the only to think he looks more like a dupe, having specialties and no X-Men TA and the common one more like the real Madrox? It's true that when he absorbs a dupe, he also absorbs his dupe's knowledge and memories. But no X-Men TA? No 'when taking damage, a dupe appears' ... At least we get to put several of each on the map!

Make an attack roll as though making a ranged combat attack, and compare the result to each character occupying a square along that line of fire, or a square adjacent to that line of fire but still within his range. Each character hit is dealt 3 damage.

Once per game per character, give a character occupying this square a power action and roll a d6 that can't be rerolled. On a 5 or 6, place this object on that character's card. Modify that character's damage value by +1 and that character can use Charge, Super Strength, and Toughness. (Characters can't use more than 1 damage reduction power.) When that character is defeated, place this object in the square they last occupied. Speed - Analyze-Contain: Sentinel Mark V can use Outwit. Sentinel Mark V can use it normally, or Sentinel Mark V can use it targeting each opposing character with two action tokens that is within 10 squares and line of fire. You may counter a different power on each character. Attack - Frigi-Beam: Sentinel Mark V can use Incapacitate. When it does and hits, choose one: a hit character can't be moved by any game effect until your next turn; or a hit character receives two action tokens.
