Question, since we don't let something like the Alpha Strike BFC give you more points in the standings than you could normally get from the game, how is the opposite handled? In this specific case, how many points are awarded in the final score when a 72 points character merge with a 137 points character to form a 125 points Duo, which is then KO'ed?
Did those 84 points just vanish into thin air?

I have to admit It's pretty satisfying to go 8-0 with a team that failed to qualify for the play-offs two seasons in a row!
What a difference a season makes

When 2 characters merge, and then get KO'd, you get VPs based on the original build. So you get both the 137 AND the 72.

It's a long fall from the top!
I have a total combined record over 5 regular seasons of 30-6 (.833) and 2 perfect seasons.
I have a total of 0 Super Bowl Championships! (Much to my own dismay!)
Better bring the A game, because anything and everything does happen in the playoffs! After all.....
Gosh, I don't even know my full record. Skrulls went 2-4, 7-1 (Superbowl loss) and 8-0 (Superbowl win) in there seasons (or something like that. Intelligencia and Defenders were both solidly in the 4-4 range in every season. Sentinels of Magic went like 6-2, JLA season didn't finish, started off badly though. Gotham Knights I will be disappointed with anything less than a Championship.

I was only counting FLE records. My HCFL record is much worse. I have no idea why. Probably because I didn't get quite as good a core roll for the early seasons in a reboot so I tried some "out of the box" ideas that didn't pan out. (Like trying Lady Liberators with a team full of Clobberin Time Rookies, who since have all gotten new rookie versions that are to put it light, a hell of a lot better)

Hope for us all!
Avengers Academy flunked out this season, but I felt like I was competitive in most of the games, and I enjoy using every character on the team.

Have to make the most of them while I still have them. After all, for next season it'll be time for me to head home to good old Paragon City again. I do have a dire and sacred oath to uphold!

I've really enjoyed my time with the HYDRA team, but I feel like like I've done as much as I can do with the team; this will probably be my last playoffs with the team, so hopefully, I can can give it a good send-off.
