The mafia was *very* slow with actions, loganspeedo actualy got his in before at least once (tho the plan was pretty well set).
Let me speak on this.
As don of an 8 Man Mafia, I was lucky to have two or three teammates join in the conversation at all on the proboards. Usually Aegon and Groovy for most of the game. And we were waiting on info that never came from LOGAN the Traitor.
I spent a helluva a lot of time trying to plan and get this mafia as far as possible, it's not like I was just being lazy and unresponsive. AND on top of that I would tell you on the boards when I was going to have a 14 hour workday or be extremely busy.
To point this out, that we were *VERY* slow just feels unnecessary and uncalled for.
Sorry to bog down your game, bud. Won't do it again.
Ice that wasn't a criticism.... if I wanted you to get actions to me faster I would have shortened your deadline. And I was senawtive that you are an evening player 2 timezones later than me. What really made it painful was the encourager. But it is fact you were very slow.
P's. The first two nights Logan Ave results and you just missed them.
Well, I know that there's few things more frustrating than a non-talkative mafia on the proboards. The games that I've had mafia success (and they are many, I'm sad panda by not being nom'd as "best scum player" ) we've always had a very talky proboards.

Besides the fact we had to get a couple people in the mafia replaced and logan was obviously dodging us (which made it pretty easy to figure out he wasn't completely forthcoming - and also resulted in PMs he wasn't a part of - I really was going to out him had he not died that very night), the biggest problem was that the members that were participating on the proboards never seemed to be on at the same time.
I'm sure the game could've gone faster, and this game was so fun that I bet most of us couldn't wait for it to open up again, but I think we made the deadline every time...

Like I said, it was more a statement of fact than a criticism. I don't begrudge players taking their full allotted time. That's why I asked how to run the encourager differently next time, not how to hurry up the mafia.
Not that I have ran very many games, but I have settled on an order of opperations
1) Guide/encouragement
2) Roleblocks and Jailkeeps
3) Misdirects and busdrives
4) Information Gathering and protection
5) Kills
6) Janitors and things that only effect the day phase
This would mean that an encourager can't be rb'ed, but his target can.
