I don't care whether he's "broken" or not because I don't play competitively. There are plenty of people that will just use this as a fun piece in home games and that's fine.
Another thing, you can always choose just to use him as a normal click.
it's not hard to grasp. but daggum, at what point can we play heroclix? this is a whole mess of add-ons the game doesn't need. it's just bleah. an entire bag of bleah. not a half-bag, or a mostly full bag. and entire bag of bleah
I completely disagree. And this has nothing to do with it being Deadpool as that would be biased for me. In my opinion, there's only so many things you can do with a system that continually prints the same characters every 2-3 years (or more like with Batman/Superman/Avengers). Something like this creates a whole new world that can be explored.
Now, if WizKids really wanted to make this easier, they could have released a new Rule Book like we were supposed to get last year with Title Characters and their rules there. Then a piece like Deadpool here would have a simple, easy-to-read description on the inside of his card with just the plot abilities and continuous effects. Why not make a separate card for him with the title character rules like we get with Vehicles? There's so many things that you have to know about from the rule book anyway, this seems like a great thing to include there as well.
I love the idea of title characters and what this means moving forward. I will agree though that the wall of text is intimidating.

well said, baron.
"I remember you said to me once, you said... 'if death ever comes your way and won't let you pass... make sure you scream right back in his face"
This is not something I'd bring to a more casual tournament, as each opponent would have to read the wall of text, taking time away from playing, as well as causing frustration.

Maybe? Personally, I'm not betting money one way or another. The inside text was done pretty straight for a character that can't stay serious more than a couple sentences. Plus, a more on the nose, self-referential joke power would be something like "Wall of Text:", "I'm a Dimension-Runner:", or have the inside text be a similar layout to planeswalkers. It's possible it's a joke, but we also haven't seen the big gimmicky thing WK does to sell figures this year now that resources and ID cards are slowly dying down.
For all we know the first draft of card might have been Planeswalker only to have legal shut it down.
I mean, it is so clearly planeswalker. Even the symbols are rip offs of it.

My hopes: Gambit, GLA Deadpool, Updated GLA (Mr. Immortal, Flatman, Big Bertha, Dinah Soar, Doorman.) Monkey Joe, Spider-Man/Deadpool Duo

I like your hopes. Gambit is my favorite character, so I would love to see him in this set. Especially after the Gambit v. Deadpool comics. Either a stand alone or a duo with Deadpool.
Also, I will add since we are getting a pirate deadpool, I would like a parrot Bob

I normally HATE calling a fig broken or unhealthy for the game before actually sitting down and playing it, but that Clixpool is 20 pounds of BS in a 5 pound bag and there's just no two ways about it.
Those stats and that many clix alone would be good for the cost.

Compare this to Faust/Strangewhere unless both players memorize every single roll result, you're stopping the game to read what they do, this is easy-peasy once you play him/against him once or twice.
Seriously, it's not that hard of a concept to grasp on how he works.
Right there's your problem. When a fig comes out and the very first figure he's compared to is Faust you should already know you've got a crappy figure.
The problem isn't that "he's too complicated to grasp" it's that he's too needlessly complicated and unbalanced.
