Actually, my recap didn't reflect any of what I did last turn. I apparently just cut and pasted it without making any changes.

And Moondragon's damage to White Queen should be 1. 3 for throwing a HO minus 2 for Invulnerable.

Beast attacks Hawkeye again. AV8 on DV15, needs a 7. Gets an 8 and Hawkeye takes 2.

White Queen will Outwit Scarlet Witch's PC and attack Justice, AV6 on DV13 (I can see why no one ever plays V White Queen). Needs a 7. Gets 7. 2 to Justice and he's KOd.

Prof X MC on Binary.AV8 on DV14, needs 6. Gets a 4. That trick never works.

Justice was still reeling from the Beast's last kick, and so the White Queen was able to bring a karate chop down on his shoulder. Her diamond hard hand put the young Avenger out. Distracted for half a second by his teammate's defeat, Hawkeye suddenly found himself with a face full of furry blue foot.

"Wonderful another mutant pretender to the throne of regent telepath. Sigh," says Moondragon to White Queen, "So many of you X-Folk seem to feel you've a talent for mind control, you get the rest of us so bored in pretending to keep up."

"Oh my dear, " says Emma, "Allow me to clarify. I'm the one with the talent and poise to back it all up." With that Emma sends a searing mind blast at Moondragon.

Moondragon screams. "Help me, help me! Nooooooooooooooo!".

"Why would they help you, you baby bottom for a head," Emma Frost says.

"White Queen, you are so fearsome," Mondragon adds, "In that deadly boustierre."

"Now listen you ...ummm...potty mouth. If you keep teasing me I shall be very cross."

"Uh oh," says Beast, watching it all.

Emma quickly starts to degrade. "And I am pretty no matter what you and the kids say. Daddy says I'm the best little girl is all of Boston. He gives me a popsicle every time he hits mommy. Whhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaa!".

Slowly she gathers her considerable forces, "You bald twit. You will pay for using my mind."

"Maybe," says Justice, "But not today." He slaws the garbage truck on the White Queen and see staggers.

Moondragon stands, gloating. "Brilliant ploy. Wouldn't you agree, Emma?"

"Amazing," says Emma Frost breathless but eager to get the last word in, "That you weren't put to sleep at birth like all the other malformed beasts."

Darn I could not get a good final line for White Queen for the life of me.

OK so I guess I go again.

Scarlet Witch to P7.

Vision will attack Jean. Needs 9, rolls 7. Wanda's reroll is 3.

Cap to L6.

Hawkeye will attack Beast and Storm again. Needs 7 and 8. Rolls a 5. Wanda I need you...

I'll do a quick story...

The Vision once again was derailed in his attack against Jean Grey by her telekinetic prowess.

"Wanda," the Vision says, "I could use your skills to break down Jean Grey's telepathic barrier."

Wanda moves on her way. "Let me see what I can do, Vision," she responds. The andriod was once her husband, she will always respond to his call for help.

Jean uses Support on Cyclops again. AV7 on DV11, needs 4. Gets a 3. Well that's just sad.

Cyclops has no shot an anyone but Binary, so he'll shoot at her. AV7 on DV14 +1 for hindering. Needs 8. Gets 7.

White Queen Outwits Scarlet Witch's PC

Storm attack Scarlet Witch, AV8 on DV15, needs 7. Gets 8. Scarlet Witch takes 4.

Beast will try to breakaway from Hawkeye. Gets a 6, moves to E10.

Vision attempts a sloar blast at Jean Grey, once more proving ineffective.

"Sorry, Vision," Jean says, "Maybe you'll have to try a new victim?".

"I don't think that's necessary, Jean," the Scarlet Witch says coming forth with a simple hex sphere that surrounds Jean. "Try it again, Vision."

Vision does as Wanda says and Jean again puts up a telekinetic force field. It immediately crashes when hit with the solar blast. Jean feels a mental and physical backlash from the attack.

"Excellent work, Wanda," Vision observes, "And I've had sufficient time to recharge my batteries to bring an attack in closer next time."

"Gee Vizh," Hawkeye laughs, "You always knew how to romance a girl, didn'tcha? Never tell a girl you gotta recharge your batteries. "

Suddenly a portal appears within Cap's view. "Avengers cover me. I'm going to finish this".

"You bet, Captain," Binary yells in a weak attempt to strike out at Professor Xavier that fails.

Moondragon has better success, mind controlling Beast to behave as a wild gorilla and having him attack Storm. "Sometimes," she says, "I so love my work."

Well I'll be. I didn't realize the Beast still had Charge. Duh. That was careless. I could have Charged Moondragon last turn. Just not used to playing the Vet, I guess.

Last dtich shot to hinder Cap. Cyclops pushes to try to hit Cap, AV7 on DV17 +2. Need a 12. Gets 7. No surprises there.

White Queen Outwits Moondragon's Super Senses

Beast will Charge back to E10 at Moondragon. AV8 on DV16, Gets an 11 and Moondragon takes 2 (pretty sure Wanda doesn't have LOF to Beast with that blocking thing there.)

Logan will flurry Binary. AV9 on DV14, needs 5. First attack 9, second is 10 (Now when it's as good as over I start getting rolls like this!) First BCF roll is 3, 2 after Toughness. Second roll is 5, 4 after Toughness and Binary's KOd

And it's done. I can't stop you from getting Cap out next turn. This was fun. We ought to try another one along these lines again sometime (Now that I've thought about it, I think I would like to give Batman a go.)

Figured you'd use Batman THIS time somehow. Anyway, good game if we do a variation on this next time we need to tweak this a little.

"That's it, Moondragon," Beast said angrily. "No one makes me attack my teammates." With a running leap, he plowed into the priestess.

"Cyclops," Xavier said, "Captain America is making for the portal!"
"I'll give it my best, professor," he said, but in his condition, his best wasn't good enough. Captain America deflected his optic blast easily. It was their last chance. He was only yards from the portal.

Logan tore out at Binary with all his rage. "Wolverine!" Professor X commanded mentally, "Stop! It's over! Logan!" Wolverine shook himself out of his berserker rage, but it was too late for Carol Danvers. She was out.

The Beast watched from across the field as Captain America approached the portal. "Well," he thought, "no shame in being defeated by that man, that's for sure." He saluted his fellow Avenger.
