Hey can I join I live just east of T.O.
let's see lots of cool canadian men like Michael J Fox, Greztky, Don Cherry John Candy, Michel Buble, Brett Hart, Chris Benoit, Dan Aykroyd, Donald Sutherland, Gary Roberts, Howard Shore, James Cameron, Jim carrey, Steve Yzerman, and many more...
Can I be Doug Gilmour?
The Hart Bros are from Alberta....Calgary specifically....it was called Stampede wrestling. Know your history...like in 1812 we burned down the White House...ok Britain and a bunch of trappers called "Canadians" burned down the White House.
So really Britain and a bunch of consripts burnt the White House down...no wonder the US is wary of UK royalty
As for architectural heritage....Le Canada has little. We are too young to claim that. See other parts of the world, and see what historical heritage is really about.
We are babies historically.
Excellent, excellent CD set.
Kept me entertained for days on random in the CD player.
In fact just for fun, I think I'll rep everyone who mentioned Tom in this thread, I like him that much...
I am very partial to tom waits early albums...Black Rider and Rain Dogs for me
As for who i will be....i'll be the old northern ontarion hippy Neil Young (unless he is taken already)

Since I was the goofy-sot that started the conversation about ol'Tom with a proclamation of my devotion <shuddering sigh>, I have to say that there is no other single album in my collection that comes close to Rain Dogs.
Incredible stuff. "...making feet for children's shoes..." indeed...
(well, there is Kiss' "The Elder" to consider as well... ).
Hope the rest of you C'knuckleheads are getting some summer now too. Should be over 30*C here in the 'Peg this weekend.
And if anyone needs a tissue of the demise of my poor Senators, just raise your hand: I bought a few extra boxes of Kleenex yesterday morning and I'll be happy to make the rounds in sympathy for those with eyes as wet as mine...
The only thing I'll be using the tissues for...soaking up the sweat. Cut my dad's lawn for him today before I came to work. Let me tell you, 30 degrees in the sun for an hour BEFORE you start a physical job...yeah, cold beer is a requried antidote.
