Well, I hope you all have some dealers up there at WWC, as I saw only three booths total here at Origins that were even selling loose Heroclix...and those were just Uniques and LEs. I'm assuming those dealers that have lots of loose clix chose WWC over Origins this year due to Wizkids being at WWC.
I was hoping to be able to pick up some figures that I'd need to build some teams for this weekend's events, but I'm left entirely with building with only what I brought...which wasn't much.

Just so everyone that's going knows a bunch of us are getting some battle royals going after convention hours. Also want a bunch of playtesters are wanted by me personally after con hours so anyone wanting to playtest for the 300 pt constructed look me up, we are putting our names on shirts hahahaha.

I'd like to go to this "WW - ChiCago" thing you guys are talking about. Can anyone tell me when it is? It sounds like fun.

I am no dealer, btu I am bringing a ton of stuff, includin Zombie Hulk, to attempt to sell/trade.

Got a few minutes, so a quick post.

Arrived last night and hit the preview night. Went to the WK booth to get my Azbats and spend my $50. I thought I'd buy some Alpha as did a friend. But WK has no Alpha for sale at their booth. No Crisis either (didn't expect that). No presales of FF or SI. They are selling Haloclix though. Anyway, I just ended up buying 6 boosters of Origin to get me to the $50... and pulled Alfred! Sweet! Already a good start. Spent the rest of the evening just wandering the hall and buying stuff, hitting artist alley, etc. Nothing much the rest of the evening. Just hung out and kicked back.

Played in the National Championship today (formerly the Invitational). Sealed M&M and I ended up playing Danger, Marvel Girl, FC Cyclops, Black Tom, and The Hood. Went 4-0 and placed 3rd (on points) so I'm in for Sunday. First time ever playing in an Invitational. Spent years running them and didn't qualify last year so this will be a new experience for me.

After the NC wrapped up I had time for one Battle Royale. Pulls were OK but time ran out and everyone playing was given clicks every players turn to speed the demise of someone and get to the next round. Well, it worked a little too well and 3 of us went out at the exact same time. The eventual winner of the BR was given Wizard Shazam.

That's about it. I plan on playing in the 500 point unrestricted event tomorrow and then I'll play my goof off team on Sunday. Depending on if I want to pay $11+ a day for internet connection, I might post more or I might not.

Honestly Karl,

Bring something good to play in the Invitationals. Nothing and I mean nothing would be more "awesome" than having Wizkids publically admit that you're the "US Champ".

Because I like drama.

You just love stirring the pot, Bubblehead. Alas, Tuttle already left the building. That would have been classic. I wonder what the applause was like when Karl's name got called out.

Nah... I just can't bring myself to do it. It's not that I can't compete at that level, it's just that I don't like competing at that level.

Any plans for HCRealms doing stuff after hours tomorrow?
I may try the Constructed for tomorrow, but will probably fail, and both the SCAM tourney (despite the cost) and the 500 unrestricted sound like fun.

Maybe a couple BRs.

Picked up Azbats myself (Got in at about 3:00ish cause I had to work) by buying four Nightmare (nothing great, need the 50-foot Ex-Girlfriend) and one Origin (Jakeem Thunder isnt bad). Cruised the dealer hall, bought The LE Arwyn with Crossgen and the dog, which is AWESOME (Love archers), Red LE Human TOrch from FF, Magneto Xorn, Ultimate Clayface, and Daniel Ketch LEs, so Im good on picking up some stuff.

Cant wait to PLAY tomorrow.
