He has the fearsome five keyword. It is on his card.
Eh, I didn't mean it that way.
I was complaining. The newer figures have had very few keywords. This makes it very hard to make theme'd teams with them.
I'm really mad that all of the Blackest Night pieces have 1 keyword (_____ lantern corps). That means I can't use the flash, atom or wonder woman with JLA pieces (for a themed team) and can't use scarecrow with gotham pieces or luthor with metropolis pieces. It's silly.
I really want to build a good team around multiple possible uses of the power, maybe some good mid dial Quakers and give the SE, or maybe some good multi-target rangers for some EE. It would also be fun to give ht U Flash SS and give him the meteorite early in the game. Having a good team with 3 or 4 possibilities will help make this situational power very usable.
Once per GAME!?!?! And it lasts ONE TURN?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I am not pleased. Can't carry, Earthbound for 2/5 clicks, and a special power that can be used once, for the duration of one turn. And then otherwise, what is he good for? Perplex and Wildcard for 70+ points. Woof.

You can still make teams with them, you just don't get to take advantage of the "theme team" rule bonuses.
Considering that we are seeing so few 'generic' keywords in the previews, and that "mutant" was casually wiped out, I won't be surprised if 'generic' keywords vanish completely. I realize this doesn't impact your desire to play certain figures as JLA, Metropolis or Gotham City...but it isn't as if you don't have such figures that can serve on those teams.
If generic keywords vanished, I'd miss using "teen" Legion of Super-Heroes, but it would make for a healthier game. YMMV.

Only thing it could be worst than that is if he also would had take push damage for do that.
Good thing new figs special powers don't come with the "push damage punishment"
He's like Macgyver and Inspector Gadget all rolled into one.
Except that it's really NOT that accurate.
It's accurate that it requires an object. I actually like that.
It's NOT accurate that it only lasts one turn. Gizmo's inventions aren't THAT shoddy.
It's also unfortunate that the power seems to have so little synergy with the other Fearsome Five pieces. The way the power is designed, and with his point cost, you really HAVE to build a team around it because he is WAY too expensive for just the Perplex. Unfortunately, a team built around his power is much better if you don't use Fearsome Five members. You can't even use him as a taxi, because he can't carry anyone (which I actually like and feel *is* accurate).
CarlosMucha: that is like be running in a Olimpic race competition just one step to get the gold and then a Giant children place a mirror in your side and you discover what you are really a hamster over a whell and the gold is just a slice of chess. Avatar Summoning: Original GotG, Melter, Whiplash
Looks totally accurate. Who on earth did they hire at Neca? These new designers are insane comic book fans obviously. Every new piece that comes out seems to be very accurate in depiction.
I would beg to differ. Just looked at the PAC. BFC replaces damage value. SS modifies damage value. The axiom is "replace then modify".
That axiom is only true when the effects occur simultaneously.
In this case, the +X from the object is applied to the damage value when the attack is made. The replacement from BCF comes later, after the attack has been successful.
In other words, much like Perplex and Defenders, since the modifier has already been applied prior to the replacement, it gets replaced, too.
Funny, Gizmo does not look at all like in the movies....
