I dont understand this way of thinking. Sounds like you have your own opinion of what heroes and villains are. But do you speak for the majority? Just because Marcus/Dom/Cole/Baird dont wear capes doesnt mean they are not heroes in the video games or comics. As for it being a dum set. Again this is YOUR opinion. Many people out there will be buying these figures. I know for sure I need two sets. One for me and my son. I know for a fact my brother will be purchasing two sets as well. Wouldnt it be "DUMB" if Neca just stuck with the status quo and not try to expand on the brand? Couldnt you just not purchase product instead of complaining about more sets being made?

Not sure that there was anything in there backing up your opinion that the characters in the Gears of war universe are not heroes. I would lump them in the same category as Batman, Punisher, Jim Gordon, Nick Fury, Adam Strange, Dick Grayson, Barbara Gordon, Selina kyle, Sgt Rock, Dum dum dugan etc... They exist to protect humanity. Its their job. They do so while being regular humans but are able to achieve things the average person cannot. That is possible with technology and superior training. It also is under the DC comics banner. What else does it take in some peoples opinions for these guys to be heroes?

I can't understand why SF clixs don't get this treatment. GoW powers and dial looks awesome and accurate. I'm not buying any stinking SF clixs now.

Who cares what a 'superhero' is. Comics are not just about superheroes. They've been about detective, and girls falling in love, and whacky dreams and all kinds of things.

The name of the game, though, is Heroclix, not Superheroclix. The fellows in Gears are most certainly heroes.
