Might be giving you hints to what game they are from...

Best guess is that is from the BF DC Mafia and maybe Posion Ivy or Jason Woodroe (and No I did not research if those were roles I am just basing on ABF usual games)

One of Furby's clues is pretty off - either because he was seriously off-target or because he decided to just grab a clue that could be 'vague enough' so he could play innocent of being off.

Both leave me not feeling too hot on his claim.

Not really, different mod running the role.

Yeah, but Magnito usually tries to keep the roles as close as he can so I would imagine he might try and mimic a previous mod's clues.

Mags typically gives very good clues - difficult to figure out sometimes, but once you solve them you go "Oh yeah!".
That said, I can only see a distant connection between my clue and my role.
