If I remember how to play the game I should be able to run the map and deal excessive damage quickly.

I can play belt tricks with the vehicle if I need to, and I should be pretty mobile.

We had our NML 3 game today. 400 pts, 200 from BM or SoG, Modern age, All DC. No resource dials allowed.

I was unable to attend but was really looking forward to running.....

the tank turrent is labeled as a Special Object (having the gear symbol on it's card), which you cannot have on your team if you have a resource assigned to it (the Utility belt)

Where does it say that?

which part? the turrent being a special object, or that you cant use SO with a resource?

you can see the SO symbol on the turrent card itself, and the no SO with a resource is in the rulebook, pg 19

I tried this and it failed horribly.

I don't know for sure if we had an exception but the way we ran it was that 200 points had to be from BM, SoG, or NML. I thought this was the suggested, though i've been known to be dumb.

that being said, i had 205 points from the three sets

we had our month 3 event today. I ended up winning using the following (200pts from Batman/SoG/NML, 200 anything else modern)

first game went up against Superman Beyond, Batgirl form NML 2 Arkham Guards (up and up) and Aaron Cash. I lost Hawkeye and Mockingbird after I removed his Superman, then Blackbat and Insider proceeded to clean the rest of his team for the win.

second game was against a WildC.A.T.S. Theme team consisting of Void, Maul, Voodoo and Spartan. I killed his Maul before losing Hawkeye and Mockingbird AGAIN lol, then my Blackbat and Insider killed the rest of his team.

Third game was against SEVEN (7) Arkham guards, 4 with the capture ability, 3 on the flip dial with perplex, 2 GCPD autopiolt bikes, and a Harvey Bullock from SoG. He also had red kryptonite, the gamma bomb, and the bat signal. this was a more stragegic game then the other two. Was over 25 mins before the first bike went down. It turned into a game of cat and mouse, with his Gamma bomb finally going off and KO'ing my Scarlett Witch, two of his guards, and a bike. He succeeded in removing my Blackbat form the board with a successful capture attempt, but time expired before he get back to the starting area and release her for the points.

...and destroyed everything I came across. Cain names the Batcycle as his apprentice, Batman preps to +2 and Flurry, etc. I lost Constantine once, and the Copcycle once. It was pretty nasty.

I'm pretty new to Heroclix and No Man's Land Month 3 was my first constructed tournament. I have played sealed tournaments prior to this. So, 400 pt Modern w/ 200 pts from Batman/SoG/NML.

I was planning on giving the Justice League (Silver Age) ATA to Superman and Barda, but when I got there someone reminded me that was not legal. Also, I thought about running Constantine instead of Enchantress for a Justice League theme team. In the end, I felt that Enchantress' combo of TK and PC would be more relevant than the theme team and turning off everyone's PC.

I ended up going 2-1, playing against 3 other Barda teams.

Round One:
His team was Barda with the UB, FFJL52 Wonder Woman, FFSOG Oracle, and the SOG Team Pack Batman. I ended up taking down his whole team without losing anyone. I don't really remember the details but it really came down to positioning.

Round Two:
Birds of Prey theme team with Barda, SOG Dove, FFSOG Lady Blackhawk, BM209r Batgirl, DC10th 68pt Catwoman with the UB. This team was piloted by one of them best players at out venue. Although playing against him is tough, it's a good learning experience. He took me down pretty easily but not before I KO'd Dove.

Round Three:
I believe this was another Birds of Prey theme team. Barda w/ UB, FFSOG Lady Blackhawk, DC10th 68pt Catwoman, FFSOG Oracle, SOG Katana. We played this game to time. In the end, I had taken out Catwoman, Lady Blackhawk, and Katana while he had taken out Superman. I won 189 to 141.
I thought it was interesting that at one point I bought myself a turn by using Superman's Force Blast. He was about to get B/C/F'd by Catwoman but I force blasted her back 1 space. I was then able to take her out with Enchantress TK'ing a heavy object. That turned the UB back on and I was able to spin it to get Superman +1 to stats.

I did better than I expected for my first constructed tournament. If I could do it over again, I probably would have tried to make a theme team instead. Cut Superman for another secondary attacker and another support piece.

We ended up doing a seal event for month 3 of NML. I got real lucky and here is my winning team.

You are correct, the suggested format calls for at least 200 points from Batman, SoG AND/OR NML. So your team would for sure be legal under the suggested format.
Yeah, such a brutal combo for sure. Out of curiosity did you face many/any Big Barda/WW teams? I ask because I feel like that's one of the only teams that stands a chance against this.
Why did they tell you that was not legal? I can't see any reason it wouldn't be legal to use.

No, no Barda teams, surprisingly enough. That's what I had Catwoman on the team, but I didn't see a single Barda.
