(Speed) Sand Smother: Sandman can use Stealth and Plasticity. Whenever an adjacent opposing character fails to break away, deal that character 1 unavoidable damage after the action resolves.

(Speed) Batline: Robin can use Charge and Leap/Climb. When Robin uses Charge, he ignores the effects of elevated terrain on movement.
(Attack) Tear Gas Grenade: Robin can use Smoke Cloud. When Robin uses Smoke Cloud, after he places all hindering terrain markers he can immediately use Incapacitate as a free action but can attack only a single opposing character occupying a square containing a hindering terrain marker he placed that turn; ignore the effects of hindering terrain on the attack.
He'll be especially nice with all of the 17 defend figures we're seeing.
"Batman's voice was half the battle. It took me a while not to be rattled by it. And then I found out that he had to work at keeping Bruce's voice. Then I got rattled again." -Tim Drake
Can Giants now use Giant Reach to Quake 2 squares away...? I haven't seen that discussed anywhere else.
EDIT: after reading the wording on Quake, I see that Giants surely can. Awesome! Surprised this wasn't mentioned anywhere else, as I've been reading as many threads as I can the last 2 days!
Let us not forget the 0-range Barrier users! Floronic Man here gets a boost from the Smoke Cloud change as well:

(Attack) Wilt Plant Growth: Floronic Man can use Smoke Cloud as if he has a range of 4; when he uses Smoke Cloud, he can place up to 8 hindering terrain markers if all markers are placed 2 or fewer squares from him.
(Damage) In Touch with the Green: Damage dealt by Floronic Man is increased by 1 if the target of the attack occupies or is adjacent to hindering terrain.

It wasn't mentioned because it's been true for over a year. Nothing changed with Quake or Giants with this new rule set.
I read a few people saying that NML Clayface has gotten worse with the changes but I think the exact opposite.

(Special) Suction: When an opposing character hits Ultimate Clayface with a close combat attack, after the attack resolves, the opposing character rolls a d6. On a result of 1-3, that character immediately ends its action.
(Speed) Suffocate: Ultimate Clayface can use Plasticity. Opposing characters adjacent to Ultimate Clayface can't automatically break away and can't ignore Ultimate Clayface for movement purposes. When an adjacent character fails to break away from Ultimate Clayface, it is given an additional action token.
(Attack) Burning Touch: Ultimate Clayface can use Poison. When he does, roll a d6 and compare: 1-2 no damage is dealt. 3-4 damage is dealt normally. 5-6 the damage dealt is penetrating.
1. Phasers and improved movers that ignore figures cannot ignore him.
2. I think less figures can auto-breakaway from him which strengthens his suffocate power.
(Defense) Slippery: Iceman can use Toughness. When an opposing character moves and becomes adjacent to Iceman, roll a d6. On a result of 1-3, the character is immediately knocked back from Iceman a number of squares equal to the result, in a direction of your choosing.

(Special) Freezer Burn: When Mr. Freeze makes a ranged combat attack, modify his attack value by +1 for each target character.
(Attack) A Cold That Will Freeze Your Heart: Mr. Freeze can use Barrier and Incapacitate. When he uses Barrier, modify his range by +3 and after actions resolve, he may use Incapacitate as a free action targeting all opposing characters adjacent to the blocking terrain markers with a close combat attack.
(Damage) Strategic Targeting: Mr. Freeze can use Ranged Combat Expert. When he does, he may target multiple characters.
That comes to my mind who just got better thanks to the new pac!

Am I missing something?
I think most people are just upset because he went from the most amazingest tie-upper evar to...about as good as anyone with plasticity.
If you think about it though, he did get a little weaker. Before, when L/C and HSS automatically broke away, he shut that down, and they could only break away on a 6. Now, as part of the downgrade to HSS and L/C, they don't automatically break away, but they do get to add 2 to the roll, so they have three times as much of a chance of breaking away as they did pre-2013 rules.
Uncommon Hercules from Incredible Hulk Set just got 13 Attack on click 5,
along with 5 movement Charge, and most of the time he will get 'The Gift' for 14 attack.
With 'The Gift' ( which he almost always qualifies for )
he can now sport attacks of : 11, 11, 13, 12, 14, 11, 9, 9
Plasticity with Impervious on clicks 3 & 4.
Charge on clicks 1, 2, 5, 6.
Flurry & Willpower on clicks 7 & 8.
Maybe I better start putting him on more Avengers teams?
Figs with first click Charge and CCE, and those with RS and RCE
just got a lot better.
edit: I didn't put any flag in my post!
