I thought so as well. Funny thing is, that is why I decided to buy one, it actually fits in one of my Plano cases with the other Star Wars stuff.

Dang it. Stopped by the FLGS today and they didn't have any Transports in stock. Apparently they only got 3 sent to them but should have more tomorrow (one of which they promised to hold for me).

Oh well, didn't end up playing X-Wing anyway. Myself and another guy played Kaosball instead. Great game and a lot of fun. Kind of like Blood Bowl that isn't bogged down by the rules.

well, finally got started on collecting attack wing.

I picked up Voyager and the Borg sphere. It's my plan to stick with the Borg faction as much as I can, and to steer clear of collecting everything the way I am with X-Wing.

The Voyager pack is awesome. So many crewmen! , plus it comes packed with Borg ship debris tokens, and nifty transwarp conduit aperture tokens!

The Sphere is frickin brutal. the sphere alone when stacked up with cards can come out to around 80pts on its own! Both ships have an ablative armor option, and an attack with 10 dice! If you set up the borg sphere to use the cutting beam, you can use it again and again, provided you have a tractor lock!

So I'm in the game now. Your biological and technological distinctiveness will be added to my own. Your attack wing collections will adapt to serve me. Resistance is futile.

I'm like that, but in it for the Klingons. Though at some point im going to have to drop a hundo and get the Ch'Tang on Ebay. As for the other factions, id just go 2 ish ships on the others, if you just want to stick with one faction. I guess some of them you could skip, but may as well get 2-3 of some assorted Federation. Nothing wrong with having some iconic Enterprises. A ship to represent each show.

That's just so wrong.

Tell me about it Hair. And to make the worse of it the model used is the exact one as Changs Bird of Prey, as well as the Koraga, which we already have. The only thing that changes are the cardboard and other game elements. Ive concidered trying to piece it together to see if i can collectivly get it a bit cheaper, even if i figure that it would end up being an actual Koraga in the lot.

A few thoughts on this...

First, Chang's BoP is actually a different sculpt.

Second, if you are really interested in the LE Ch'Tang there are probably a few options worth looking into before I'd go the ebay route....

1) Ask the players here, I know some people had doubles (not sure if that's still the case or not though)

2) Ask your local store (if you have one) to inquire about past OP kits, some distributor have extras and they have been offering them to stores.....at the very least it could give you an extra chance to win one.

3) I have no idea what WK is doing Attack Wing wise for the Convention season but from Clix, sometimes LEs show up from the recent events and it might give you a chance to get them that way........or at least put a bunch more out there.


Of course you probably know most of that, but if it can save you some funds it's worth a few pixels.

Especially since I have an extra and I'd never consider selling it for $100. That's just gouging for the sake of gouging.

Is there a Tactics version of the ship? Because I happen to have a base to convert it.

It's also wrong because it wouldn't cost $100 to get one - on ebay or on here.

Checking closed auctions, it looks like they sell for $75-$85 as an average (one auction was just for the cards, no ship, and it sold for $41).

So yeah, the hundred isn't too far off. Even $75 is about 5x what it should be. Ridiculous.

Difference of opinion does not make one side right or wrong. I happen to think that a few exclusive ships enhances the tournament scene and makes the game a lot more fun.

Alternate art cards don't do it for me.
