Doom is a mere megalomaniac and narcissistic overlord, obsessed with controlling other people, and killing them when he does not get his way, just as pretty much every famous villain in comics is. Why should he get special immunity?


(Seriously though, I've always hated that term, "diplomatic immunity". People shouldn't be allowed to get away with crap, no matter what country they're from.)

Not to nit pick the ovlerlord but whether he realizes it or not, it seems like that part that he commented on is the part he takes issue with. The other functions maybe all well and good but the part where they can run you down in the street and not have to worry about being arrested or tried for it (at least until the state department can get their status revoked) is the part he doesn't like, and I must agree. I understand the need to have that system in place but it wouldn't make you feel any better if you crossed pathes with a driving drunken diplomat.

What I'd like to know is why the need for their constant presence here? Why can't they all just have some neutral ground to meet where they can just worry about themselves and not mingle with us common folk?
