Really have to wonder what kind of idiots they have playtesting their stuff. This errata wouldn't have been necessary if they had one person there think about what could possibly seem broken or overpowered with whatever they're releasing.. We had our Black Lantern Anti-Monitor event at store 2 today. Thanks to everyone who came out!

Our top 8 were: Freddy G., Alex P, Tony D, Charles M., Nate W, Austin M, Kevin G, and John A.

Alpha Strike still rules the day. Alex and Freddy were rocking similar teams, using Bill, Agent of AIM to get the first shot, regardless of line of fire. Austin was using Iron Pharaoh to take shots from the starting area, aided by Brother Voodoo, and Tony was rocking out with a simple but overpowering Weaponer of Qward build.

In the end it came down to Freddy and Austin. It was a close game, but ultimately Freddy's Sniper build was able to reach just a little further, and hit a bit harder than Austin's. John Stewart using RCE from 11 squares away, no line of fire needed, provides a huge threat area. Dice played a big part in it too, with Austin missing a critical attack roll, despite 2 probs, near the end of the game, and Freddy trusting in his dice with no probs at his disposal.
