Starbuck plays evasive maneuvers. 2-2=1 miss
Raider 6 fires. 4 miss
Raider 7 fires. 6
Starbuck is hit! She barely manages to escape the swarm of raiders and land safely on Galactica. Starbuck/Girathon to sickbay. The Viper is damaged and must be repaired before is can be flown.
The remaining 5 Raiders corner the 5 civilian ships and slaughter them without mercy.
Civilian A contained 1 population and 1 fuel
Civilian B contained 1 population and 1 morale (particularly sexy civilians?)
Civilian C contained 2 population
Civilian D contained 1 population
Civilian E contained 2 population
Doesn't bode well for me.
Hopefully people will forget that I was president when 80% of the population was decimated. Then again there aren't too many people left to remember it after the attack

Well, people didn't forget when you were president during the New Caprica occupation and signed the death slip of a ton of people.
So since I'm in the hanger, do I repair then launch or launch then repair?
We are better off firing the main guns on the Galactica at them than waste time on vipers now. We can fix them if we survive this somehow. That's just my opinion though.
1) You get to move and take an action on your turn but you have to do it in that order. So if you launch Vipers, you can't move to the Armory. But you could move to the Armory and take a different action.
2) There is the Command location that allows you to activate two unmanned Vipers. "Activate" translates to "launch, move or attack." You're talking to the NPC pilots here.
There is a separate location, the Hanger, that allows a pilot to launch himself in a Viper and then take a second action. Literally getting in a space ship and flying off. The second action can be used to move or attack or any normal action like playing a skill card. You get to come out guns blazing if you need to.
