Well, at the very least, the 'end' seems to be pretty straight forward, as the Green Lantern card fell where it was 'expected' to be.
As for the three Villains United ... they could go with Knockout as a VU/Secret Six character [since she defected going the other direction when Cheshire turned on the Six]. So she could be a Secret Six legacy card that's dualed with Villains United.
Only 2 Checkmate cards compared to the rest? They could have a dual affiliated Alan Scott [or Micheal Holt <> Mr. Terrific] that's also Checkmate as a way of having parity through dual affiliation. On the same token, JLI could get more support through a Fire Checkmate character. Count Vertigo is another guy that could get onto the Checkmate group. The various 'admins' of the current checkmate also include a version of Sasha as Queen and the Black King. I doubt they would go with the OMAC guy from the series as being Checkmate affiliated, although it would be cool to have him be an unaffiliated that happens to have the identity OMAC Robot.
Secret Six is limited to Mad Hatter and Knockout character wise [and the Mad Hatter would be a question of how soon did they know ... he might end up in World's Finest instead]. There's obviously room for a non-character help though.
what a pile 6 threshold if it was like 3 or 4 it would kick A$$ but 6 is obscene if it wasnt a rare it would be cool in sealed but I dont see this card doing much of anything
I remember reading a while back that there will be a +3 DEF that will be the new EoE this may be that card that was talked about oh so long ago.
They didn't say the +3 DEF card would be the new Enemy of My Enemy. They said there would be a generic +3 DEF card (Steely Resolve) and the biggest card for deckbuilding since EoME (Mobilize).
What's with all the generic cards/legacy? Get back to the main teams!
the reasion is that the set should sell its self. and for people that have no clue about what is going on they want something that we could like. and tommarow they are back to non-legacy
Steely Resolve is the only preview I missed today, right? That's going on the list now.
I don't get all of the hate for this card. Yes, it's overcosted by one or two points, but hey, it's a generic DEF pump that doesn't lower your ATK. I'm sure stall decks can find a place for it somewhere.
If Speed Force was only brought out one or two at a time, they'd never be viable for Modern Age, which might not sit too well with some people. I predict that SF is featured as a full team at some point.
Well I think this depends on whether the Speed Force team-affiliation is even intended to be used as a team in the traditional sense. Now that we have dual affiliated characters, there are other ways to use team-affiliations such as Speed Force.
