Thanks for the feedback, Mike.
I like the abundance of 1 drops as they can be used for First Class (exhaust doesn't have to be X-Factor char). They can be dropped if I have to shift Caliban on turn 3 and they all have fairly useful abilities. As I said in my post, hitting one of them with a MedKit goes a looong way. Between Exiles and the X-Force deck(TOV), I don't think Caliban's importance can be understated.
I intend to use the PAs for things targeting me, and the CtC for things targeting their characters - what's that? Savage Beatdown? No it's not! Oh, a Mandroid Prototype? I don't think so! (Yes, Kariggi clarified that CtC can negate an equip recruit effect because it targets a character...)
You are right that Rachel and Havok are susceptible to PA, but I figure that they probably will have blown their PA on either Iceman's ability or Holocaust's ability. They can only draw so many PAs in a game, and I will force them through them. Thanks to energize, they would need ALOT of PAs to keep Rachel and Havok from eating them alive.
I know Iron Man's ability well... the Wolverine is the 5 drop from MUN (also hidden). I'm fairly certain that I will swap him for Lex...
And unfortunately I don' have any copies of HoTW. I'm hoping that I will be able to borrow a Mobi from someone for the tourney (my attendance is, unfortunately, still pending my wife's approval...). I think that the Govt Sponsored counts as search, though...
Dunno, it seems like your deck is missing out on a lot of pieces. Weak 1-drops that can potentially throw off mobilize; not enough strong effects; several bad characters (I appreciate the cuteness of Rachael and Havok, but they're not the guys you want on their respective turns). Home Surgery is unnecessary, you have a plethora of better recovery options between Fall's, First Class, and Children; and I've generally found recovery effects mediocre to bad in curve decks like this. It just doesn't seem to have the elements together to keep it consistant, and even on its best draws won't put a good curve deck (much less an Exiles deck) on the ropes :(.
@ mr.sensitive - hey aaron if you need cards for your deck let me know.. i have two extra moblizes if you need to borrow.. i also have a play set of call in a favor that you can use as well. 2 extra copies heroes of two worlds if you need.
Ralph, you are my hero!!!!! I still haven't decided 100% which deck to run, but if I could borrow a mobilize and the 2 Ho2W I would be incredibly grateful!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Do you have any 1 drop MVL shadowcats? Thanks! (I'll e-mail you this weekend)

Well, my deck is more cyclops legend than x-factor so my build may look bizarre.

The deck has worked pretty good for me. It stalls well with good defensive pumps as well has resource replacement. I also find myself smashing opponents on my initiative as well. And my endgame seems to work well since all my effects can pull off before the combat phase. Have 8 drop Cyclops with one fearless leader kills. The only problem I find is with consistency. Government Sponsored helps but without a search, the deck lacks a bit. I plan to work on tweaking the deck a bit to be a bit stronger. I might splash one Rogue 4 drop, and possible a Magneto 7 drop. Post any suggestions if you got them.
Look at thefilth99's version on the previous page, and switch out Ms with 3 Mystique and a Lex Luthor; and 1 Polaris for 1 Mimic <> Infected, and you've got a better version on the same theme variant.
I haven't been as pleased in constructed with Vocal Minority as I was in limited. I realy, realy like Cracking the Case and would likely swap in at least 2 for 2 PA's. It looks like mobilize could hit most of your curve and might help consistancy. Have you had a replacing Cyclops for Cyclops issue?
I've been goldfishing your Anti-Exiles X-Factor and have been trying to find a way to improve it's chances against curve. I was wondering how you would feel about these changes and why/why not they do or don't stink.

Ok, so we're at 61 now but I can still use Heroes of Two Worlds to grab all of my drops. I guess we could drop the Mutant Messiah to get back to 60. Against curve I'd prefer to go M -> Cyclops -> Havok, as the turn 7 combo between the Summers brothers is pretty insane. If they attempt to "Vulcanize" me, Polaris 3 with a MM would still be viable.
Lastly, how do you ration your Cyke Plot Twists? Do you allow 1 or 2 attacks to go through and save some for turn 5/6. Or do you just lock the big turn 4 down and hope they run out of steam because of Caliban?

No, I have really had that prob, I set it up so that I hit Cyclops usually on 3, 6 and 8. The 4's and 5 is in for insure that I hit at least 1 Cyclops drop before turn 6. I would put in cracking the case if I had it. I'm thinking about switching out first class for fall's edge. I do have one X-factor investigations, but outside of that my x-factor material is a little limited once u got multiple people in your hobby league searching out x-factor.
The deck does well against the Vulcanization anyway; you can actually underrun pretty well if they try it (I tried it early with my old version and got smashed for it). I took Vulcan out of my Exiles deck anyway; there wasn't a deck where I found the setup "worthy", this deck aside, no control deck has come close to beating me (I did keep a few call in the favors, since the extra search was nice).
Am I the only one that has just found 7-drop Havok bad? Like, discard a card? Really? On a 7 drop with bad stats? There are so many better 7s for mirror-like matchups; the big issue with the curvy decks that don't care as much is their guys simply do more... they're not as "laser focused" on beating weenies, so often expect to press into the late game. Meanwhile in this deck, your early game is wasted; your 4 drop is pretty bad in curve-vs-curve, and you really can't get over oversized guys like Superman or Jean Gray very well. Also, your entire deck folds to Lex Luthor (which is a real problem if you're playing against a jerk like me who insists Lex goes in every curve deck :)).
I'd like theFilth's version tested some; in theory his version seems a little worse vs Exiles, but gains almost all of my "hyper-anti curve" that my other version has. His deck could be the deck to bring to the tourney, again with Mystiques and a Lex Luthor at 5. I haven't run it vs Exiles, but it seems really solidly built.
Oh, and for all decks trying to fight curve, put in 1 Mimic <> Infected in the 6-drop slot. He decimates mirrors and mirror-like matchups (not unlike the Lex :)).

I don't have time to test anything, but I know at least one person who's bringing it... me. :)
I think it'll run just fine with how we left it, as there really isn't any dead weight in the deck. Assuming I can get those Shadowcats together before the tourney, of course. And if it loses to Exiles, well... I expect it will put up a fight at least, and should do very well against curve.
