"Traitor! I will destroy you!" Despero growled at the In-Betweener
"Why just destroy him when you can make him work for us one last time," the Chief suggested.
"Finally an Earthman with some brains," Despero said, using is powers on the In-Betweener and turning him on Dr. McCoy. And then he destroyed him.
"I don't know what that idiot's doing just standing in the middle of the battlefield, but I'll do the gene pool a favor and get rid of him," Spymaster took out Weasel with one shot.
"Maybe I can finish off their doctor," Paladin said.
"Or maybe you can't," Spider-Man said, webbing his guns up. "I don't know Paladin, I thought you were half-decent, but shooting at doctors? That's pretty low."
I really want to get figures out into the battlefield but I have to be ready to lose them instantly.
Well if you send one figure out at a time, of course that's who gets all my attention. Send out a few of them, tie up some of my guys to limit my choices, and force me to spread out my attacks, they may last longer. But your more cautious style does seem to work for you - I do seem to be a couple hundred points behind most of the time

Start with Despero, he attacks MCCoy. AV11 on DV16 +1. Gets 7. KOs him.
Friend teleports, moves to O8 to block.
Mento TKs Elasti-Girl to L15
Chief, with Assemble the Outcasts, gives her Sidestep, and Perplexes her DV +1.
She Sides, then Charges to G9 on Yeoman Rand, AV10 +1 for being Colossal on DV16. Gets 8. From there, she's out of Spock's range for PC, so that KOs Janice too. Can't block her.
Unlikely to matter but Chief can also make it so Mento is Protected from Outwit
Chief will still Mastermind to Callisto.
McCoy and Rand KOd. McCoy is blocked. Elasti-Girl's DV is +2, 1 from her Trait and 1 from Chief's Perplex. Mento's Protected from Outwit
Ock sides to I6, outwits Rita's sc. Needs 8, rolls 10. He make make 4 attacks doing 2. 1 to her. Attacks again. Needs 6 now, rolls 10. 1 more to her. 3rd: Needs 6, rolls 4. Spock: 3. Last one, needs 6, rolls 9. 1 more to her.
So thanks to hitting three times her dv is -2.
Green Goblin comes in. EA brand. HSS to H6 on Rita. Needs 4, rolls 7. 3 more to her.
Spidey hss to I7 on Rita. Needs 4, rolls 7. Kos her. He ends in J6.
Electro on the friend. Needs 6, rolls 7. All he'll do is get food.
Rita can use her Weird Resurrection trait when you KO her that first time. I roll a 10 - eh, never mind. She's out.
Creed Leadership - gets 2. He was on a roll for a while there and lately, nothing.
Cranking quickly through the Doom Patrol, it's Robotman time.
Chief Perplexes his DV to 18 before he teleports off to H13, Charges to F10 on Barclay. AV11 on DV17. Gets 7. So he hits his Stop click. Which of his two secondary dials do you want to send him to?

Spymaster can pick a standard attack power. He'll chose Psychic Blast, Sides to J12 for a go for Reg, AV11 on DV18. Gets 2. Agger makes it 11. Spock's out of range. KO to Reg.

Creed Sides to O20, in case Chief needs Mastermind fodder.
Give Robotman Shellhead and hope he's around long enough to use it.
"Nobody picks on Rita and gets away with it," Robotman said, slugging Reg Barclay, laying him out on the ground. He turned around looking for a new foe when he heard a shot behind him.
"Stupid of you to look away. He was mutating into...something," Spymaster said. "Not anymore."
