I went on this morning to look at all the music conversations, and finally realized that there are so many that it is getting harder to have actual music conversations. This is my fault and I apologize for not realizing it sooner. I am closing all the ones that I opened, and hope everyone will be participating in the overflow bucket opened by our friend Phantalien.
For those familiar with the LPC, it will be obvious why that one will stay open.
PS Update. I missed this thread too much and am reopening it.

Tom Morello recently released a song with his son Roman. It sort of changes genres throughout, but musically suits my tastes more in the second half. The entire song is a bit Rage Against The Machine(sy), but I think it impressive. Mature language, mature concepts, glad it exists.
Back in the late 70s/early 80s NY had a punk rock/new wave radio station. They used to play this song from 1966. It has a unique quality of being Garage, Psychedelic and pre punk. With all that it's a distinctively and nicely crafted pop tune. At home in the 60s, 70s, and today.
Nazz - Wildwood Blues is a song that I don't think the uninformed would be able to guess the year within 2)
The vocals are a little too smooth for classic punk, but Mendelbaum's Oh Yes Yes would be at home in a punk set if the non-drums rhythm was slightly sped up.
The Rumblers - Boss would be completely at home on the Repo Man Soundtrack. Punk would replace the saxaphone with lyrics, but it would work.
