I haven't paid any attention to the SF stuff, but is Akuma anything special? Some guy at our venue that doesn't play clix bought a couple boosters and pulled him and Bison.

At least he can still use that PsyBlast on the back end of his dial up close. It's not much, but it's better than nothing. Right?

That, or it gives him an edge when it comes to Combat Reflexes and ES/D since he can pick or choose how he's going to hit someone.

This is so true. I played it tonight with my Masters of Evil team, but considering I was fighting the Howling Commandos and I was outnumbered heavily, I couldn't be bothered to try for it.

I did throw a Barrier up, leaving Brad's Nick Fury with nothing to do but try to pick it up. Fortunately it didn't happen.... or actually, I kind of wished he had picked it up. Then Nick would have found himself without his Stealthy cover and Klaw might have been able to get a shot or two in on him. Darned undestroyable objects...

Dagnabbit! 1 Piece. Just 1 piece I really, really wanted out of this set, and it's one of the few I'm missing. Oh Bison, why must you taunt me so?

From a GD thread= "I am aware of two near DQs in the Semi-finals. One players was using an ATA without having the card. Another was playing characters without their cards. In both cases, they were able to borrow the missing cards from other Semi-Final players."

I get the playing an ATA with no card, but didn't realize you would be disqualified for no character card. I thought the worst case would be no special powers because you couldn't show it in print. Not a DQ. I've never played without character cards, and maybe missed it in the rules.

Does anyone know if its officially stated you get a DQ for no character card? Thanks.

There was one player who got DQ'd for not writing info in the right line.
